What I info got so far, male Cerea have a short life span (50) while female Cerean can live up to age 100. Mundis was bored 93BBY and the Acolyte took place in 132 BBY
The original trilogy had fires in space too. Also, Star Wars has never been hard science fiction. It’s space fantasy.

The latest episode was good, especially the ending.
Even pirating this is a waste. Watching this is losing a few hours of your life that you can never get back. I can only wonder what the next dumpster fire that Disney rolls out will be.

This is why I just buried my head in the sand and pretend the only thing Star Wars that exist after 1983 is computer games.
No Christmas Special.
No weird ewok movie.
No books that were good but not canon.
No reskin of the original movies.
No horrid sequels or prequels.
And no Disney garbage.
I recommend that all fans of Star Wars follow in the Path of Tovi. If you want to watch a good SW “movie”, just watch this:

TOR cenimatics were/are amazing. The Deceived trailer is still one of my favorites of all time. When the shuttle crashes down and the door opens to reveal the Sith, it still gives me chills.
The only thing that ever really got that hype with Disney SWs was…
And the fans still had to make improvements with the appropriate score.
But regardless there was a moment when my wife and I were watching and we saw that green saber in a black gloved hand and we lost our shi…stuff.
It’s just been a race to the bottom ever since.
I thought the prequels were good, but I’m in the minority. The sequels though can go die in a fire somewhere though. They’re a disgrace, and so are most of the shows afterwards.
Episode 5 was even better than Episode 4. Anyone who’s a fan of lightsaber battles should like this episode. The show is getting better and better. I now see why critic reviews were so high compared to audiences. Many of the critics were able to watch the first 4 episodes before regular audience.
This is the problem right here. Lightsabers was never the point of Star Wars.
But whatevs. I’m glad your’e enjoying the show.

I don’t think Acolyte is the worst thing to ever happen to Star Wars, and I also don’t think it’s great either.
Frustratingly, I find myself thinking “Oh, wow, this was a really great scene, this is Star Wars!” and then they’ll follow it up with something awful… and it just goes back and forth like this over and over. They do something great and then something terrible. The acting is great and then it’s terrible. The characters act like actual Star Wars characters then they do nonsensical stuff.
I’m going to finish the show, but I have a feeling episode 5 was the high point.
And what do you think could possibly have been worse?
Basically anything from the MCU in the current phase or the next phase.
Also, The Acolyte is nowhere worse than the Holiday Special. This is an absolute fact.
Hm. I would definitely rather watch the special on repeat for 8 hours than 8 episodes of the Acolyte. Anyway, different opinions, I guess.
I agree, the lowest parts of the Acolyte are pretty bad, but I don’t think they’re 14% rotten tomatoes bad. More like 40% to 50%.
