Older races are starting to show

What about them makes them not make sense? Did you have any suggestions, or are you just contributing by trying to discourage contributions?

To this day humans dont have a pure white hair color. Its all gray. The only actually white hair color comes from the latest 2 hairstlyes added so if you want actual white hair you cant, only two hairstyles. How long before we get white hair

Locking certain colors to certain styles is a common example of the really weird and lazy limitations the current options have. And something they really need to correct in an overhaul.

Literally everything.

Minor expansion roles
Enemies who hold no allegiance to nobody but their leader whos a villain
Literal homunculus race.

Yea, this is like asking murloc race. Theres private servers for that
They also have lamborghinis and stuff for your liking

That kind of blanket dismissal is exactly the same reductive attitude that kills good discussion. Just listing a few lore traits and saying “literally everything” doesn’t make a point, it’s hand-waving. Minor expansion roles or morally gray factions have never stopped Blizzard from developing playable races before; look at the Void Elves, Nightborne, or Dracthyr, all of them started as small, enemy, or niche groups until Blizzard decided to build on them.

Calling something a “homunculus race” or saying “go play a private server” isn’t feedback, it’s just gatekeeping dressed up as sarcasm. If you think the idea doesn’t work, explain why. Otherwise, you’re just repeating the same dismissive behavior we’ve already seen, shutting people down instead of discussing them. That might get you a few likes from cynics, but it doesn’t make you right, and it doesn’t make anyone want to talk to you.

Good point, murloc race would be cool! Thanks for the suggestion.

Gotta be honest…If an upright Forsaken mode was available - I’d never use that option…Luv my hunched over run/shuffle…It’s fitting!

I won’t say never. I agree I love them how they are now.

Indeed…With all the head to toe transmogs out there I can still spot a Forsaken/Femsaken with their running…We stand out and I luv it!

Adding covered elbows was a great example of a basic change that opens a race up to players who might have dodged it otherwise, just like posture pal orcs. Body type and customization option expansion only adds to player’s ability to enjoy their characters, and maybe make alts they would have otherwise avoided!

Let my undead stand!

I can tell you respect the lore of the game. Yes the Naga are loyal to Azahara a villain and the Saurok are homunculus created by the Mogu, but that doesn’t change the fact that I think it would be cool to play as one of those races.

No, its telling it as it is. You wanns come with outlandish requests that dont fit the game or narrative I will mock you.

That statement practically drips with arrogance. Saying “I’ll mock you for requests I don’t think fit the game or narrative” isn’t “telling it like it is”, it’s announcing that you think your opinion is the only valid one. You’re not the arbiter of what belongs in the game, and treating other players’ creativity as something to be mocked just shows insecurity, not authority. Everyone’s allowed to share ideas, even “outlandish” ones, that’s how new concepts get born. Acting like you’re the gatekeeper of acceptable discussion doesn’t make you honest, it just makes you unpleasant to talk to.

I don’t understand why we didn’t see more customization options for some of the races during patches.

For instance: Undermine. I don’t play a Goblin (because Gnomish Engineering is superior) but they should have gotten some more customizations during it. Same with worgen during reclamation of Gilneas, etc.

New races and customization options are incredible. Haranir look great, Dracthyr have a whole gallery of customization, and Earthen… well, they look cool (not that I’d main one).

I think a lot of the “older” races are looknig good for them being from… Warlords and over ten years old, but I also think a bit of reshing up could help big time.

and I sadly agree, cause it worked for me. Going to swap haranir because the difference is just too much. Hopefully, it’ll be a wait and see :frowning:

I wouldn’t mind more NE customization so I can make one of my NEs a big diddy goth gf.

It’s kind of wild that they have a stacking potion buff that you have to hunt down and purchase from a vendor in Goblintown, instead of just letting us have a height slider in character customization.

Oh, it’s absolutely a red flag that you’re going to see someone more interested in being rude and starting fights than adding anything meaningful to a discussion. But I do find it really funny how quickly they run out of steam when you point out their arrogant behavior, logical fallacies, and general disposition for everyone to see.

They really don’t like being examined critically for what they are. Even if they don’t run away from the thread, they definitely stop engaging with someone who knows their tricks and doesn’t fall for them. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

they need better models badly for races i agree
more customization and better polygons on models

I would love to see Blizzard do a customization revamp but I feel like their big focus will be on housing/decor, the new raids/M+, controlling the craziness of removing combat addons and the changing of spell rotations for all specs.

Hopefully, over a few patches we will start to see more hairstyles, faces, etc for classes. People did bring things up like the dracthyr only having 2 armor sets/limited tints in the barber shop and it was stated nothing is in the works for this expansion for that.
