Yeah, there is a lot of broken stuff surrounding some scaling changes… It broke enchanting…
You’re not the intended audience. But Blizzard listened to you anyway.
doesn’t that sort of make me the intended audience?
The more Team Git Gud wins, the more everyone else loses.
Even the investors lose by listening to your ideas.
this World is ours… despite all else.
You wanted a world with many people beating on a boss?
This ain’t it, chief.
You will legitmately one shot him in DF starting gear, stop complaining.
Funny you say that, because DF beta says something else entirely. That reply is about as honest as the time Ion promised we would be able to solo in 9.0 what we could in 8.3. Go play beta, and be prepared to eat your own words.
I’ve been on alpha and am in beta. We’re creeping back on legion numbers, the health bump is insignificant compared to how hard we hit now.
If you have trouble at 70, it’s a skill issue.
Content is being made harder and harder. I don’t want Touhou damage sponges.
That’s what timewalking is for. This is just scaling gone crazy.
We must be playing different games. Because BFA M0 is far from 1shotable, and even the ones that are easy take so long the bosses kill me of boredom. Also, “Skill issue”. Increase hp values by 50% for no good reason without a loot bump to justify it unlike fated raids. Please, stop with this nonsense.
I shouldn’t need to go do older content and then be forced to gear up and level my alts again a few weeks later for content i was already soloing fine.
RPG/MMO logic dictates increased power and levels, and being able to overcome stuff that challenged you once. WoW should stop being called a MMO/RPG if they do and decide to stick with this because its completely anathema to it.
Also enjoy ghost towns when people decide older content is too tedious when you need to level alts and gear them up again because most recent patch buffed them again, and they just happened to be done with current content. Because why would people bother if content takes longer or gets a massive boost every single patch without any kind of compensation in player power or content rewards to justify it?
does this mean they deleted the old appearances for the transmog gear?
i have no plans to purchase dragonflight. your move. should i not be allowed to run old instances anymore? i have dozens of other game i can waste my time on.
The appearances seems to be same regardless of ilvl. They just scale for some inexplicable reason. And probably not a good one. 159 ilvl is useless to me because if i i want more gear, i’d spam M+ or current content. Im just here trying for mount chances.
It’s pretty scummy stuff- par for the course for modern blizz
Ion doesn’t do transmog. Ion has told us it’s not fun to zerg old content.
They will continue to make old instances more unpleasant until people stop doing them and begin doing chores like the obedient drones they deserve as a playerbase.
The first could well happen. The second is unlikely. They will continue to remove player options until everyone is playing the game right.
It likely has to do with Chromie time scaling to 60, causing BFA content to be scaled up.
what’s even worse is unlike shadowlands for the main 4 zones in shadowlands the mobs don’t scale in power. In bfa the mobs scale INDEFINITELY IN POWER. meaning you CAN’T OUTGEAR THEM. they scale based on ilvl after 60. if you have ilvl 270 gear they are going to have hp proportional to that.
Maybe they are trying to cut down the gold gains
I thought they nerfed the gold from BFA?
