Just looking to reconnect with people that you might have played with? Was talking on trade with Chraist about the good old days. A lot of the OG friends I had have had their names disappear or turn into the something like ‘Smashe189E89’. Some names are still there but haven’t heard the log in chime in 15+ years. We spent a lot of time with some of these people and a lot of them just disappeared without so much as a goodbye (not that we’re owed any explanation) but sometimes you cant help but wonder if they are at least doing ok. Some of them may have passed away, and a few of our members including our beloved gm have sadly passed away over the years. I just wonder if any of those old friends still play. Here are some name’s I can remember either playing with, or actively seeing them be a part of our community , positively or negatively -
Imoldgregg - always played tiddlywinks with him in the stormwind canals
Hood - got my black war bear in wotlk from one of his numerous horde city raids
Atone - gm of the once paladin only guild Honor Guard
Valens - also guild Perdition in general (I remember being online when they got server first illidan )
Dithrica - a warlock that played end game raids with a laptop using the touch pad as her mouse ( I can recall the EXACT night she posted in trade chat that she was a fresh transfer looking for a raiding guild back in BC)- I talked to dithrica the other night, she still plays just another server. I remember her saying she was new to the server and had most of her class set from BC raids, and then I remember Nixx refute those claims in chat and then i remember her shutting nixx up by proving it.

Roguebobb - gnome rogue was my first friend add after we bumped into eachother questing and leveling in Arathi Highlands, we paired up to fight ogres and became best buds, played a lot with, disappeared shortly after wotlk release
Druiand (or druianed) - horde tauren druid that was an absolute monster/nightmare and pain in the as.s to fight as alliance. Spent a lot of nights being trolled by him at the underground tram in sw
gavisitian/turucianth - i remember you kid. I remember being a lvl 40 something warrior and you being a lvl 10 warrior being MIND BLOWN by my character and my whrilwind axe from scarlet monestary while we spent hours dicking around in elwynn forest. we played a lot together and you became like a little brother. you re rolled horde (tauren shaman, dont remember the name) at wotlk launch. I remember bumping in to your horde toon in borean tundra while we were leveling, we waved at eachother and then i never saw you again
holyyams- holy eff i cant believe i forgot yams
Gadz - night elf rogue that loaned me the last bit of gold i needed to unlock epic ground riding skill. seeing him with the winterspring frostsaber gave me the motivation to grind it myself
Furyman- a human warrior that was big on world pvp. I have a youtube video from 2008 with us dueling outside of stormwind and also raiding crossroads together. Never saw him say much but was well known like Hood was in that sense
These were times when social media was barely in its infancy, and staying connected was much more difficult, so some of these people may have quit the game, transffered, died, who knows?

Maybe someone knows what happened to them, and they might even still be playing. who knows
if anything, maybe this whole thing just brought back memories when we were all different people in different times
