Please bring back the original Shadowform appearance from Vanilla-WoD. I want my Priest to look like an actual shadow again instead of a ball of ugly smoke.
The new one is so bad it honestly makes me not want to play my Priest whenever I look at it.

I’ll bump these easy. Fired up a fresh priest just to level before SL hits and my heart sank

Can we just make each iteration of shadowform (and glyphed shadowform) accessible with a glyph or like a spell tome sold by the order hall vendor

I was wondering if I was the only one, haha! I love my priest but, everytime I look at the current shadowform, it brings me right back to my Paladin. Hoping they add the old iterations back as glyphs or to the barber.

I still remember the first time I saw a shadow priest back in vanilla. It was in a battleground, and it was the coolest thing I ever saw. I rolled a priest alt immediately after. I’m really surprised there isn’t a glyph with the old look.

yee i want the option to choose between the different versions.
also split the shadowform on mount skin from shadowy friends and make it a piece of shadow priest specific mount equipment.
then i can finally have the choice if i want a shadowy pet or not. (like it used to be)

I love original shadowform too.
It really kicks me in the heart when i go to that scarlet place in dragonblight and those priests have both old shadowform and shadow ravens.
I still take my shadow follower out with me in legion areas just to see his shadowform and his spell visuals.

Popping in to agree, I prefer the old visual, the new one has too much going on. I have two priests at 50, would love to have shadow look… shadowy.

Bump. All I want is classic shadowform as a glyph and maybe a glyph to give shadow orbs when I cast devouring plague since DP has a lackluster animation.

I can’t imagine that this would be a hard task for Blizzard to implement. Does anyone here use twitter? Maybe we can ask for this directly.
it already exists on shadowfiend… cant be that hard to implement

No, you will play wow the way blizzard intends… any desire to want or do anything other than that is seen as treason to High King Ion
And several NPCs to mock everyone. You don’t even have to be a priest to feel bad 
And it’s just a shader that can be applied to any model so it would literally be just telling the engine to use that shader + particle effects for the smoke. Maybe two minutes of work.
Adding it as a glyph would take more effort, you know, adding an item to a database, the check for the glyph, then the above.
Man it just looks so much better than current iteration. Every time I see an NPC with it I cry a little inside.

Its actually mind boggling there isnt a Glyph for this considering they literally remade the form for Vanilla and bringing it over should be about 10 minutes of work.
Just another case of Blizzard…being Blizzard. There is zero excuse. Just lack of care.
Id also love to know who thought a Shadow should look like purple smoke and have a stern talk with him regarding what drugs he took recently. Some of the decisions are just… yikes.

Bump. Old shadowforn never needed to be touched. It was perfect, and iconic. The ugly shadow particle effect that puffs out as you stroll along is so visually unappealing.
I play shadow because I like the style, but sometimes I hate looking at my purple boi. I’m still confused as to why classic SF hasn’t been made into a glyph by now?
