A far better idea, than OP’s suggestion.
I do not think OP and the player base who share his view know this, but Demanding for more forced group content and removal of solo content is not going to put more player in their guild, or have people to group up like the old day.
Having knowledge players want to best quality content they are either going to hire or group or top rated guilds will start funding carries.
Although this behavior will be uncommon on small town servers, but within Crowded big City Servers, money speaks.
Being able to solo old content is huge chill content for Blizzard (for their Played-Time™ metrics).
I think Blizzard acknowledges solo-able content, thats why we got Mage Tower, Visions and also getting Torghast which can be done solo.

What you’re doing is forcing your own opinion down “everyones” throat by saying “no one”.

I personally wouldn’t be subbed right now if the game didn’t have solo-able legacy content.
Because for me, theres literally nothing to do in-game. Its the main content I do currently.

Yeah no. Old raids are old for a reason. The only “old” raids I would be fine with that requires a group for are “old” raids from the current expansion (but can still be done with like 3-4 people) and mythic raids from the previous expansion.
But needing a group for something like Molten Core? yeah no.
Even more so for old raids that do not have skips and have boss fights that still take like 2-5 minutes regardless of how geared you are. Siege of Orgrimmar is an example. Immerseus, Galakras, Spoils, and Garrosh himself are not bosses you simply walk up to and complete in half a second. Even with a speed set, Immerseus takes about 3 minutes to do on Mythic.
Even Ulduar has bosses that take a bit of time to do. Such as Thorim (running the hallways), Mimiron (gotta do every phase with their respective RP) and Yogg-saron.
Thank god that Blackhand has a skip, because even doing Blast Furnace 4 times for the skip quest is painful to do on Mythic.
idk, 3 people were able to do Onyxia. Maybe with Naxx gear we might see a video of someone soloing a boss like Onyxia.
This would generate SO much backlash. Like, more than the whole Flight debacle back in WoD.
But I do think they could maybe convert “wings” of old raids into dungeons and toss those into the leveling pool for that bracket, maybe? Obviously scaled.
Just a means of keeping the content somewhat relevant. At least you don’t 1 shot everything in dungeons while leveling. Certain mechanics would have to be fudged, ofc, and this wouldn’t replace the original thing.
So you just don’t like having friends huh? The day this happens blizzard will never get another dime from me, I guarantee it. Farming old raids is the only thing that keeps me coming back during the tedium that inevitably comes from their asinine cell phone game design philosophies.
Soloing old content for mog and mounts is honestly where most of my time is spent. I always look forward to the newest stuff getting the nerfbat so my husband and I can go in and solo stuff together.
No, old content is old content and should be soloable. On a side note - you might enjoy FFXIV if this is how you want old raids to be, theirs can be solo’d but certain mechanics make it near impossible for some unless your a paladin, otherwise you need a group still.
let me remind you that you will need level 60 in shadowlands to solo legion content.
51 is the needed for the legacy loot bonus but you will need SL gear level to solo legion content… it wont be like right now due to essences and corruptions we can solo some if not most of legion raids.
