You contradict yourself again. Fomo is an excuse and only if you aren’t good at the game. From how you treat others, and your way of thinking on this thread, it is quite possible you have narcissism. You also said you have a family… if you google what narcissistic parents do to children you get this.

Because narcissistic parenting can cause children to live in a constant state of anxiety, long-term psychological damage can ensue, increasing the likelihood that adult children develop some form of mental illness.

Hence the child protective services. Asking for a way to earn old fomo sets is not entitlement, blocking them to make yourself look better is.

I haven’t contradicted myself once. Infact you keep moving the goalposts because you’re the one that can’t cope with facts.

He wasn’t wrong though. The basic gist of this convo was that at the time balance for both was incredibly hard, the previous 2 expansions really had pain points where PvE messed up PvP, and in turn patches were made to classes which ruined their functionality in PvE. They didn’t have seperate versions of classes and specs like they do now for PvP, everything scaled in PvE was scaled also for PvP. So PvP’ers would cry about lets say… ret pally being super strong in PvP but in PvE they were balanced. So they would tune or nerf the Pally because of PvP and the PvE version would suffer massivly. We seen it happen many times from classic to now.

That is where the whole mentality “shut up pvp guy” came from.

You have some imagination that you think people just want these sets to magically appear in peoples collection tab the next day. Your belief that people shouldn’t be able to earn fomo because they weren’t there or skilled enough at that time is also an opinion, not some logical conclusion or common sense. The game is a product and the product can change at any point. Also if you feel attacked thats on your own accord. Since you have been the one attacking everyone here since the first get go.

well, in the long run i think pvp guy might win. its mid patch and my pve friends have all quit to play baulders gate, i can’t even assemble a 5 man for the mega dungeon. for a game mode with so many resources behind it, it doesn’t have a very loyal following from its player community.

meanwhile us pvpers are still going and going.

Earning from RBGs isn’t really earning them especially the arena only sets.

The fact that you feel entitled to sets you didn’t earn when they were in the game is the issue.

Different opinions are fine, but attacking people to reinforce your opinion is bad. Act like an adult and stop pretending. I just said ranking, if it had to be arena ranking only then so be it, as long as it is somehow earnable in the game then the status of fomo disappears and people are happy. I never said anything that would make me entitled, again you are seeing things and pretending they are there to make you look better. A hypocrite huh?

You mean when you said on the fifth post “if you didn’t get it then thats on you” that is an attack on everyone here who didn’t get it.

then on the 19th post when you told the night elf that he was being entitled and attacking him when he was just giving his opinion?

And the 20th post attacking someone by calling them being in denial.

post 33 replying with “LOLNO” which in caps and laughing at people to upset them is an attack.

post 66: fomo and gatekeeping are nothing but excuses. A method to shut down other peoples opinions and try to invalidate them so your opinion would mean more. An attack.

Post 143: “The only people that think retail has major issues are solo players and people not successful at the game” So anyone who complains about retail sucks at the game. Another attack at the playerbase.

Post 150: “The people who refuse to do instanced content are such a minority they should be ignored” Saying people who pay money for a product should be ignored and shouldn’t have a opinion is also an attack and a sign of you thinking you’re better than them.

Post 159: “These people thinking the elite sets would come back for 12 marks of honor and not rating requirements are reaching.” Thinking people are delusional for wanting or thinking about something is also an attack.

All of these examples was before my first post at post 162. And my first post wasn’t specifically targeted at you.

Which at post 164 you took it upon yourself to feel called out and tell me i wasn’t good at the game. Which is an attack.

You have been hostile this entire time and someone gave you the taste of your own medicine, you truly are the true hypocrite here, and i feel bad for the family that has to deal with you on a daily basis.

So you mean because they have a healthy relationship with gaming and their life that the game is dead or will turn into a PVP game?

The problem with you people in this community is you think you need to just play one game all the time, no, you can play other things. You can have a life out side of the game. If people want to hang up their coat on a season that is up to them, that doesn’t mean those who still stick around aren’t improving them self just because YOU can’t get together people for the mega dungeon.

There are always going to be lull periods in any MMO with season based chunks of gameplay. New content comes, people play it, they finish what they want to do, then go do something else. It’s incredibly common. With the Mega dungeon people got what they wanted out of it from the first week or even second week. The only people going into it now are alts who are trying to gear or people needing Aspects.

To expect people to just sit on ONE game their entire gaming life is incredibly short sighted.

It’s absolutely true, that just a few people are against bringing old items back. The majority is absolutely against gatekeeping, FOMO and unfair treatments, which wastes time and fun.

I have seen it during the Feldrake Twitch drop. A few people complain their heart out but stop after four days, because they realize that their efforts and loot means nothing. It’s a game, nothing you earn has value and you will be thrown overboard the moment the majority is against you. The rule of the jungle.

They just did a poll and PvP came in 2nd place behind M+ as the most popular game mode in WoW. This was very recent and on these forums.

Why did you even begin to play this game? MMORPGs have always had exclusive items etc. Have you considered that this is the wrong genre for a player like you?
