Lol the server is basically dead right now.
No one is raiding.
Meanwhile benediction and faerlina just full raids for everything all hours of the day.
Keep inhaling the copium though I use remote log in so queues don’t even effect me.

If anything, prepatch is when players are most likely to take a break from raiding.

I never said they’re not rolling at all. Just that it’s when players are most likely to not be raiding.
That’s when the most raiding is done though, with the influx of people coming back. Raiding always tends to drop off a 3-4 months(best case, can happen earlier) into the last phase of raiding content. Because people at that point are just burnt out and waiting for pre-patch to be announced and/or go live.
But pre-patch is when the most raiding would take place as you have people gearing up alts, or new mains they are swapping to. Making gold off all the increased price of materials since there is an influx of demand for said materials.

This is great but as a player on Manrkik Alliance and have been since character reserve in Vanilla, we should be given a Free transfer off or something needs to be done to accommodate servers with severely imbalanced factions. Mankrik has been restricted now so Alliance cannot free transfer here and that really sucks. Please let Alliance free transfer here or let us go somewhere else.

If only some transparency about actual server populations could be provided to players in real time so we could make informed decisions rather than a leap of faith.

The numbers of players back in the day were like 1 to 2k per realm. He is implying Old Blanchy is at 4k to 6k, and server caps have been calculated to be at 15k.
In other words, Old Blanchy is deader than dead and the blue post is maximum damage control copium.

Thinking that 1500 players per faction at peak time is “populated” is not close to reality.

Clearing SWP takes what, an hour? Why would large numbers of people be in SWP this late in the game when they’re busy gearing alts, stocking up on profession mats, enjoying the plague crates, and generally relaxing before the Wrath grind hits?
I transferred all my toons to Old Blanchy and pretty much everyday I have been able to run heroics and some raids. During early mornings and early afternoons there aren’t as many players because most people work or go to school, but I am still able to find groups to do dailies and run dungeons with. During the evening it gets pretty busy.
I think you will find its a good server

Why are people raiding 2 weeks before a new expansion? All that gear is going to be replaced by quest greens. I think some of you haven’t been around right before an expansion drop before.

until the new content has worn out in phase 1 and then the content lull of phase 2. then it will die again like it did before.

It kinda was. Its just we were too new to the game to realize it because most of us were just solo questing and exploring zones.
Once in a blue moon did we encounter opposite faction and actually formed groups to do dungeons. At least that was my experience with the game.
Can we just merge old blancy with another realm? i dont think ive seen more than a handful of people while leveling
