Yeah, if you want to call the lame duck president of Activision the Jailer.
To be perfectly frank, it appears to me that Cotick is taking a significantly less active role in ‘how the game aught be’ and just stepping back.
After all, he has a 68m golden parachute to look forward to and that’s a pretty good incentive to no longer care about what the devs are up to.
Asmongold asked some weak questions it seemed to me but establishing a line of communication reaching out to so many people I forget how many people were watching but it was a lot like 100k?
Look that’s what blizzard needs to do and start opening more lines of communication like this maybe perhaps do the all craft show and have a bunch of the most popular streamers line up some questions it’s a very good look.
This pretty much. Also if Dragonflight turns out to be great one again then 11.0 and forward has to be great ones too. Otherwise people will abandon the game. Atleast it seems that they really got rid of the troublesome individuals from their teams.
All people who represented Dragonflight seemed to have the right attitude and enthusiasm. Seeing people who didn’t look like carbon copies of Metzen was delightfully refreshing.
They get 100k people watching and then they say master loot or nah and put up a poll and then let the players make the big decisions.
Send a thing to everyone on the ingame mail. And make sure the election is going to be well known and get everyone in Warcraft on that thing voting that would be amazing and then if the players don’t like it then atleast it won’t just be because the devs decided it was best.
I like the Darkmoon Faire. Upgrading it is pretty near the bottom of my priority list, though. There are so many more important issues to address, and the devs don’t have unlimited resources.
What a shallow and self-serving thing to say. I want player housing as much as the next person, but you can’t make something like that immediately. If anything I appreciated Ion’s candor and hope we see more interviews in that vein going forward.
News flash:
He definitely has.
Sorry if you think he didn’t, but him actively cucking the entire Overwatch development team and cutting all development on OW1 in favor of OW2 is enough evidence to me that he likely did it with the whole of Blizzard.
If you catch his content it wasn’t surprising. People don’t realize his persona is something of a Dangerfield bit and take him over seriously. Or they for some reason aren’t in on the joke and are surprised and offended when they get roasted. That gen Z post floating around right now is basically the long and short of how he got his rep, and probably why the OP thought it was relevant.
