You could be like me and say heck it at 30% and just burn the boss instead.
Meh, I was tired of dealing with bombs. Dodging was much more exciting. I was 1% and he was 1% and then he was dead 
! Killed by an azure strike like the Gods intended.
And yeah this is the biggest thing. Where the adds spawn isnât really RNG. Youâve gotta put them where they belong or youâll get way behind.
I know how that feels. I got him down to around 100 million several times, sub 29 percent of his HP if I remember correctly, only for something to one-shot me. A few more times I got him down to several hundred thousand HP. And I think once I got him down to 100K, which I think is only 0.29 percent of his HP left. ;_; but nerves, shaking hands, and an increased pulse rate do not go well.
I was eventually able to do it a few tries after that 100K attempt, but still. Think I did a total of 100 or so pulls, with around 50K in repair costs lost ;_;
For me, I recommend 4/4 Mecha Dino egg and 4/4 Bioprint. I donât feel the Bioprint does A LOT of damage, but still, extra damage is extra damage. I had Brann set to healing since I do not know how tanks can sustain themselves through the fight despite my winning toon being a Paladin.
Besides that, what I did was burst him down to 290 million/80 percent, sometimes I could do enough damage before the second or third wave of ads spawns, but not consistently. After that, my progress would be slowed dramatically as I would have to save all my heavy-hitting abilities for the shield, but I would constantly poke at him while kiting him around the arena with some of my fast-recharging abilities.
You can do it. The fight is a sprint, not a marathon.

Oh no no no no, big thanks, but Iâm retired. 
Unless I can shelve Brann, Iâm good on S3. Brann was dead the vast majority of my kill, and thatâs likely how I killed Underpin 
Brann literally sabotaged the previous attempt, 25%, by running into the center of the arena while I was positioning Pin (I finally got positioning pegged now, at this point.) Pin jumped to him, then summoned adds. Couldnât recover.
Next attempt, Brann dies three times, three glorious times, and I slept Pin like he was nothing. I mean, all adds down, Pinâs at 25, Iâm at full fricken health when I pop drums. Brann being dead was a night and day difference, I kid you not.
Iâmma prolly wait till the tail end of S3 before I even look at the Hard Mode.
