I’m not sure if I want to do plunderstorm again, at least not without some changes. I like the idea to a degree but dislike some of the execution. I think I’d be more apt to be interested if it was a few years since it was live last time that way I forget a bit the parts I disliked. 
You mean like when raid loot is tied to raids, or m+ loot is tied to m+, or PvP transmogs are tied to PvP, or when battle pets are tied to pet battles?

I would like to know what new mounts (if any) we are getting. I’m pretty sure there are still 2-4 more parrot tints that have been datamined and not used ingame yet.
I really wish we could get a boat mount or something different as a mount from the return of this event.
Would be nice to not have everything just be a retint.
Honestly that they should be moved to all ranked pvp. 3s is dead. It was dying for a while but ranked solo queue killed it and bltiz did a burn out on the grave.

My wife who is the mega completionist in the house gets them. That’s how I feel about them.
I don’t care if it exists, please just keep that stupid flashing icon out of my character select screen and/or launcher, it should be something that i deliberately download and install, not something that sneaks in as if it’s WoW content and annoys me for months.
Good God, I feel like typing out the “No Blank” remark because what you are saying is basically one of those moments.
My whole darn point with the “optional” remark is the part pertaining to the items the Developers shove into the event to get players to even participate in it.
Optional, (True Optional) wouldn’t have FOMO to entice anyone, and it would be hey let’s go do this event for fun with nothing being used to get you to play the event.
To Sum, it All up, in the writings of the Wow forum goers.
“It is an optional event, with FOMO. If you do not wish to participate, you do not have to and you do not need those items. However, if you do want those items, shut up and play the event.”
It was such a baffling complaint I felt the need to seek clarification.

I mean, the best-case way to fix it would be if someone dies in the storm, to have their loot and abilities appear at the edge instead of inside the storm.
What they’ll probably do instead is make it so that you get no rewards at all if you die in the storm, even with all of the issues and griefing that would cause.
I will say that by the end of getting to rank 40 on both of my accounts I got VERY good at stormrunning, dipping in and out of the storm to run away from people and finding caches that people left behind when they threw themselves deep into the storm for a last-minute bonus. I’d pick up the boat and just go fishing.
I didnt do PS and I wont, but it absolutely should rotate in and out over time like TWing does
