I don’t wanna go out side. We got 8 inches of snow last night and now it has changed to freezing rain on top of it. 40 mph wind gusts.

@FAnahlia - stop with your silly excuses for Blizzard. They are a multi-million dollar organization that should have learned pre-launch rules by now. Tell me something; does your bank have buggy issues when they launch a new online product (e.g. bill-pay, auto-deposits, etc) ?
I’ll gladly take shutdowns for an hour (which is what the launcher says) if they actually fix the problems.

They need to fix the mail system and some dailies and increase respawn rates. We almost never have maintenance on Saturday - don’t make a fuss.

I am a bit slow on inferencing, being really honest I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, but what does that have to do with vodka flavored cookies in the morning?
Ion just gave an interview where he said the extended PTR of 8.3 through the holidays made this one of the best tested and most stable patches they’ve done.
This is a product that people pay for. Not a team you cheer for. Blizzard doesn’t love and care for you.

Look, you found the positive. Come complain on the forums! See if we didn’t have these down times, there’d be no forum time.
A heck of a lot less can go wrong there than in the amount of programming in a patch.
We got all sleet/freezing rain yesterday. Took me twenty minutes to dig my truck out from under its ice shell before leaving work. 
Everything else is still encased in a shell of ice out there.
Yes. When my bank first launched their online bill paying service eons ago, it was not mailing checks out properly for the first week. So they took the feature down for a couple of days with a polite notice stating that it would be available after they resolved the issues. What do you know, a few days later it came back and automatic check printing and mailing were available. Imagine if they had not fixed that.

For me, it’s a bit of sour grapes. I’m 0 for 14 on loot on a new toon because a previous guild died and I have friends playing on a new server.
(frustrated grumbling, not intended to be related to Grumbles the Gnomish Warlock but quite the neat coincidence)

3 am in what time zone? 3 am est might be alright for some but 3 am est is Midnight pst. What about them then? It doesn’t hurt when the game is down for a bit because new content is out. After a short amount of time, things will go back to normal, which means the game is ALWAYS active all the time on weekends.
Surely we can adapt until that short amount of time passes?
If the issue is critical, it needs to be fixed as quickly as possible. I am sure they are not bringing down the server to fix minor issues but something that is major. Go out an get a coffee, I bet they will be back up soon enough.

This guy works in IT. He knows! And I bet he has always had flawless system launches, because HE KNOWS!
I just want my recruit a friend reward issue to be fixed. Three weeks of them saying, yes, we know there’s an issue. Still no way to give you the reward we said we would. Month 3, no reward. A few more days and month four will be paid. Will I also not get month 4 reward. But yeah, let’s hotfix every new issue. Not any older one?
Yeah, But again all pay $15 a month THEY pushed out the broken game so THEY should fix it and do it when it is not a burden on us.
If they did any damn testing when it was on beta this would not be an issue. If I fail to complete a task at work - We have to take it home (Im sure others have this issue) Or stay longer to complete it. I don’t get to go:
