While I would like to see furbolgs on the alliance, it would involve a lot of rework on our friends’ models.
It’s an old idea of something made for the alliance, heavily ignored by the devs.
This is something that would take a lot of time, resources and money.
Something the devs have always shown they don’t like to do when alliance is the goal of the job.
Can we wait for something like this, done with more work and with an interest in giving something desirable to the alliance, when the devs seem to refuse to take notice of what the alliance could like or like?
I hope so, although I realistically expect small, simpler things done for the alliance like more customization options and not something related to some new race, being skeptical of anything made exclusively for the alliance coming from the devs that don’t refer to the disasters like purple blood elves, junkgnomes and kultirans.
With the High Elf customization options for Velves, Furbolgs are probably one of the only remaining “Alliance Friendly” NPC races i could see making sense to join the Alliance currently. And im aware most are actually hostile but there’s been some small groups of them who are friendly to the Alliance. The main ones i can think of being the group in the Draenei starter zone. I’m kind of curious how their player models would look though. If they’d give them something like the Worgen Skeleton or something else.
Alliance cannot have High Elves.
There are few of them to make a race with playable numbers.
Only 40 traitorous Silvermoon scholastic blood elves can make up enough numbers to be a playable race.
We can only have purple blood elves, usurped from the horde, created as a placebo for the alliance.
Accept this and start customizing your purple blood elf to look like a fake Silvermoon blood elf.
It’s as close to High Elves as anyone in Alliance gets to having a High Elf.
That’s very mean of you.
I happen to like furbolgs and kept that quest wand, long before it became a toy, so I could turn into one.
Definitely would need a model update, though.
