I have been playing this game on Linux for over 4 years now!!! There is no reason to stay on Windows for this game my friend.
I have done it on Debian, Arch, Fedora, Nobara, pretty much all of them. Install Wine and then use the Battle…net install with Wine Program Installer and your set. People mention Lutris but I stopped using that 2 years ago. Wine is all that’s needed and installs it in a way that your other game things like if you have Zygor or anything it requires no intervention ya just install it like ya would on Windows. I do not use like curseforge like that for addons I use wago and wowup . Hope this helps but I see this is an old post but I just saw it
