Ooh, that’s a fun site. I didn’t realize some titles I thought everyone had are actually pretty rare.
how about no thank you.
Why not? Makes no difference to me.
Why not give away a 5 million gold dump mount away for pretending to watch 4 hours worth of a streamer while they are on mute in the background?
The mount is back and its on the BMAH, If people want to get it. it’s available.
I’ll take this, yeah.
I mean it’s an in game currency, so unless people spent money on wow tokens to get it, it didn’t cost anyone any irl money. Certainly didn’t cost me anything to get it other than 5mil gold since I didn’t buy gold with tokens. Just grinded it out.
People did, by annoucning the removal of the mount it triggered a wild FOMO spree which had people buying tokens left right and centre.
You don’t do something like that then bring it back for people to get for free, It’s rather silly.
I mean blizz said the tcg stuff wasn’t coming back and it’s been coming back, same with the raf stuff.
It’s also the risk you take buying anything, that it could go on sale or be given away at some point in the future.
Go to your local mailbox because you can count them there blocking access to it.
Based on how many I see everytime I mount up on mine… almost everyone
it was to push wow token sales
I think it was also partly to try and bleed out the glut of gold that was STILL left over from WoD. I made 15 million gold that expansion doing nothing but mission tables with almost no effort.
Can’t wait for this mount to come back. Should never have been removed.
I would rather a new special pet or a toy. The only times I’ve wished for instant access to an AH has been in places I can’t mount.
It really shouldn’t have. The precedent was already set with the Mammoth and Yak, and though it pains me to say it, removing it arbitrarily was nothing but an attempt to spark on run on Tokens. If you had played Wrath and Mists, there was every reason to assume it would always be there, until they decided in 8.3 that wouldn’t be the case. It’s the most egregious and transparent cash grab they ever did in regards to an in-game (not shop) item.
The bruto is not a promotional mount. It makes about as much sense to give away the bruto as it does to give away one of the gladiator or m+ or CE mounts.
Promotional mounts like TCG items etc, are just marketing freebies that no one did anything in-game to earn.
Why tho its just another mount
4% of accounts have it… and like 25% of people on seem to have it. so…
that must mean the active player base must be 12% of all accounts. (Sharding may vary)
Same here. You’re totally right.
That seems way too high if we are talking about WoW accounts or active WoW accounts. I don’t believe that for a moment!
Are they going off numbers based on who make accounts there or something?
