Hello, I’m from Arugal horde side and the 29 bracket twinking scene was reasonably lively until a month or so ago. A lot of the oceanic scene transferred to US realms to be able to play their characters in twink brackets over there.
Is it possible to merge our oceanic battlegroups with the US ones for the lower level brackets? This would reflect the behaviour on live servers as Oceanic players have played with US players since the game released. No idea why they changed it for Classic.

Or you could just put your big girl panties on and play with people of equal gear levels to you instead of winning via the size of your wallet.
Seems to me that is what OP is trying to do, and was doing until many of the twinks transferred to the US, leaving him with a lack of twinks in the OCE scene to play with, which has brought us to this thread.
With the way lvl 60 pvp is currently, twinking is probably a lot more fun. And no, not every twink just wants to destroy non twinks in one hit. Twinks vs twinks is challenging. Also challenging facing off against higher levels in world pvp.
I have a 49 twink arugal horde side and i cant wait to finish ranking on the 60 so i can start having fun on the twink. Will be fun going into the 55-60 areas and killing 60’s.

That must be why twink v twink xp off brackets are all dead in retail- strange that twinks were an epidemic until they could only face other twinks, and suddenly they all lost interest.
I cant comment about retail. I have no idea what its like. But there are more people out there like me who like the challenge. I’ve occasionally seen twinks out in the world in areas 5-10 levels above them killing other players. Or trying to at least.
There are a lot who liked globalling others though for sure.
I also think the art for twinking was lost with BOA gear so many players stopped. At least thats what i noticed.

Oceanic shouldve been marged from the start. A paltry pool of 4 players is ridiculously small.
Theres heaps of games simultaneously in my brackwt and they are great. Mich better than pre made stomps, balanced and enjoyable…a d im not a twink.

What brackets are most active?
19 is active. I haven’t waited longer than 5 mins for a game the past few days. I’m hearing 39 and 49 are quite active. Working on a 39 right now.
Low levels is where the real pvp is happening. The rankers have level 60 bgs screwed up for non rankers. Let em have it. Eventually that whole meta goes away or dies down.
If all the non rankers and casual pvp’ers leave the 60 brackets they will be forced to face other premades. Which ofc will turn into win trading. Which ofc blizz will do nothing about. Just like the botting. Lol.
TLDR: Low level twink pvp is better for non rankers and those who really enjoy pvp.

Lost interest you say? Wonder why the community is still active to this day? They even started holding an annual twink cup. So if by lost interest you mean organized a community back in Wrath that is still around today then sure.
Most guilds/community don’t last as long as the twink community has. Nor will many put in the effort/patience it has taken to build that community.

Makes sense to merge sub 60 Oceanic brackets with US brackets if you don’t have the population to support healthy queues.

It’s hilarious when people say that twinking is only for the people who suck at level 60 pvp. I just switch off and anything else they say isn’t worth listening to. In 12 months they’ll complain about getting globalled by people in tier 3 gear but yet somehow think twinking is still apparently for the weak people who couldn’t hack level 60 pvp.
Twinking was and still is huge and people won’t fully grasp how good it is until they make a twink themselves.
That’s a bummer, OP. I hope you guys get merged in, because it’s really fun on our side but we could use some more players queueing in the off-hours to keep those matches popping.

Unless you run a premade twink team (or plan to join one) I wouldn’t worry so much about trying to get in with the 19 or 29 brackets on NA battle group. Premade twink teams in that range are just as prominent, if not more so, than premade wsg teams at L60.
If you plan to twink at 39, 49, or 59 there are less premades.

Cities and levelling zones total ghost towns, entire servers dead.
The communities are dying fast on Arugal because of this, soon it will be to late.
