Oceanic Realms Broken - Merged with US Battlegroup (Lag)

You’ve clearly got no idea.

Play on the US servers and leave OCE alone? No idea why you’re complaining about a perceived lack of queues when you’re ok with 200ms latency.

To be fair, Kaivax has to date been the bearer of much good news. This, however, is a very unwelcome departure for which I hope he’s not responsible.

320ping yellow zug cannot zug. Revert change, game not playable for serious OCE PvPers, thank you.

Are you seriously trying to make out this is better for us? Don’t piss in my pocket and tell me it’s raining!

I rarely post and mostly browse the forums, but I did feel compelled to add my voice to the chorus of oceanic players who are dissatisfied with this change.

Having played both in Guam as well as in Seattle, the differences in game play experience is remarkably noticeable. Nothing is more frustrating than losing a pvp encounter in ANY game due to something like lag.

I hope for the players in Oceanic that they revert this change. I definitely don’t blame them for wanting to quit over it especially if pvp was their primary motivation for playing.

This change is uncalled for. Having our own local OCE servers is great. Being able to pvp in tbc with low ms felt fantastic. Now we’re back to 2007. Great job with pissing off OCE players and the NA players as we are all affected by this.
Shameful.

Think again cow man, we will take you US players down with us.

Blizz with the 80 iq plays, 3 acccounts unsubbed, peace

You kidding me? Chimps have a 65iq and could do better.

Honestly all I can do at this point is just shake my head and try to laugh.
It’s sad because Blizzard used to be about quality.

The one takeaway we should all get from this is all massive corporations are simply a terrible thing.

So true and so sad; sure seems like the deal is now any job worth doing is worth doing half way.

If the plan was to give Oceanic players a higher likelihood of being able to compete for end of season rewards, perhaps that could be tweaked on oceanic servers?
Most of us understand we need to queue a bit longer to get games with desired ping and would much prefer to wait for a quality ping that is a competitive match

Very slimy.

Except that the rationale used doesn’t even work.

The arena is factionless, Horde outnumbering alliance means nothing and all that matters is having a pool of players, and that’s something that OCE has loads of; they’re all horde mostly, but for aren it doesn’t matter.

Sooooo since arena titles are % based it’s meaningless on raw numbers, there will always be an R1, glads and so on, as a result all blizzard did was mess up quality of play for the crying of a few BG Zugzug that couldn’t be bothered to play alliance.

Ironically OCE and NA prime time are like half a day apart making the efforts to “fix” horde Q’s effectively meaningless anyway.

Net result PvP suffers lag and no one wins because blizzard “fixed it”

I guess this proves that old adage; “If it ain’t broke; you’re not trying hard enough

Blizzard should create lots of bots for pvp that look like players and give them player like behaviour, put couple million of them on oceanic bam, no1 will know

Lmao, thanks for being upfront and honest about why I should be playing Final Fantasy.

id rather rewatch the new mortal kombat movie with no kano than play this joke of an update and thats saying something

Arugal and Yojamba aren’t small. Reasons given are not reasons regarding titles, numbers say decision makers don’t know how to do math. Since they know how to do math this shows they are slimy Jews.

Seventeen hundred comment thread.

Now you know why Blizzard created the Oceanic General Discussion forum despite relatively fewer players on Oceanic realms.
