it’s not thought about much, maybe, but there are people who have chronic illnesses, and are perhaps rather immobile and isolated, and thus WoW is the world they can run around in and find socialization most easily. TBF those types of folks are probably super chill and may not be so much into PvP.

I don’t remember ever feeling that way. I was already in my 30’s when I started playing the game and was far removed from living in someone’s basement and subsiding on cup o noodles and KD.
so as long as someone isn’t living at home eating ramen, does it matter how much they play?
I recommend subsisting on the spicy Korean stuff.
