Good lord, some people just want everything free on their alts, you should still have to put SOME work into them… This is pretty easy to get honestly.

Question:
My main is a Shaman that can’t get tank essences, does this mean I STILL have to unlock the tank essences the normal way, or do I get access to tank essences on my alts even if I can’t obtain them with my Shaman? (Example, Nullification Dynamo from Mechagon reputation)

Steep? Do 3-4 full clears (takes an hour) and you get an essence

So for example if we completed the cloak quest on 5x alts would giving that account holder eligibility to skip it be somthing you would think about doing?
It’s pretty painful being the cloak is currently a req

You get enough visions to do 5-7 runs weekly
That’s one socket per week
We only have like 8 socketable items
I dont get it,
they are making it minimal effort to acquire essences.
Its not even a “grind”. Im assuming since you want essences you want to do harder content. You are literally getting essences from the things you want to do.

The currency is soulbound. You still need to do the content on your alt.

That is how I believe it should be. We’ve already spent the time in the other forms of content. Best way to do it would be to just allow us a slight catch up as we do current patch things.

I mean come on, more grind to get essences on alt, jesus christ just make it for free or way easier, the xpac its over already just let ppl have fun, log on whatever character we want and play it without having to grind a damm currency for essences, right decision, wrong aplication.

No I’m not. 50-70K worth of coel visions = 5-7 keys = 1 socket
Does this apply to essences that you would’ve unlocked if you were the right specialization, but couldn’t? IE: Being able to buy Anima of Life and Death rank 3 if you got Essence of the Focusing Iris rank 3 on a DPS-only class?
Why do you need to raid and m+ on alts if you can’t even do these simple tasks for essences? Doing the 3 weekly invasions and the 2 full horrific visions that you can run from doing the invasions is an essence per week. If you can’t do that on all the characters you want to play then it’s your problem for trying to play too many characters.

You can get a rank 3 essence in a single hour. How is that hard

This is not as good as I would have liked. Too much currency is weekly locked and they’re making terrible content the best way to earn it. Buff raids, M+ and pvp outside of weekly thanks.
