Just did a random BG, BGE still works the same and I can see all the names of the other team. So not sure what happened with yours. In the starting area. Can see health and everything.

Battleground Enemies is just a addon that rereads the roster, if the roster is hidden until the match starts, so is BGE. the issue is when a premade sends 1 player in to scout the other team, if the roster is hidden until match start, that no longer works.

as best i can tell the addons that violate this are the ones that read the quick join toast api to see who queued and when.

i popped into a random, the enemy roster was hidden until they had 9 players

It’s been like that for a while though. BGE doesn’t load people usually until the other team is full or close to it.

honestly the scouting is crumbs compared to the quick join api, its the most anti-social thing in pvp, people pretend to be your friend so they can get on your friends list or in your community for the purpose of tracking and hunting you when you are solo, it causes people to freak out about who really is or isn’t their friend and ive lost more than one person on my friends list because they didn’t know who it was and removed everyone and now don’t allow anyone.

 or fair fights
 or
 well pretty much everything that doesn’t involve hiding on an air ship or in the boss room while his team plays for him

Let’s hope so, otherwise it’ll be another big L for Blizzard.

However, they didn’t mention anything about the communities themselves so I would still expect to see premades.

Great. Can you do something about people obtaining information about their own teammates in advance now? 10/15/40-man premades plague unrated battlegrounds.

I’m not using battleground enemies, just the default scoreboard.

So if blizzard hid it, but you can easily get around that with a perfectly legal addon, this change is pure buffoonery.
