Nvm i messed this up

Replace skulls with fire and DBZ characters shooting ki blasts to the beat of a hidden MIDI in the background and that was mine.

I spent my teen years squinting at Geocities/Angelfire fan fiction sites created by people who thought neon text over brightly colored tiled image backgrounds was peak web design. And by god they were right. I hate the endless parade of bleak minimalist websites in either black and white or Web Design Blue™ that have dominated the landscape for so long.

Enekie, why? You made me remember that horrible first grade field trip to a farm and they made us try to use a churn. Idk why they even had one. It wasn’t the 1800s! (I just wanted to pet all the farm animals)

Why are people making me remember things? I went through interviews to run their reinactment neighborhood. It was cool and fun, and then I found out I had an audience of 80k+ members.

Do you know that the rocking chair was basically a literal life hack for churning butter?

They don’t usually tell the kids that the momentum of the rocking chair did basically all the work when they did have to churn out butter.

That’s their favorite part to leave out, because it could make past ghosts look lazy.

“Hard work builds character!” is a phrase most uttered by those who insist other people work hard for them.

Wooooaaah! THere’s a blast from the past. I helped so many people as a mod or assistant admn “back in the day” on their forums. It’s aroudn the time I met my husband. Good times!

That’s kind of cool and they absolutely didn’t have a rocking chair by the churn or mention it. I remember it was up on a porch and a few of us had to take a turn. It was hard and I didn’t appreciate it.

Okay so I sht post but I also do literally have a personal website with a big animated skull gif on it because it’s my portfolio website and I drew and animated the skull but if you look under the hood it’s all hand written HTML and CSS because I learned how to do all this when I was making geocities and later LiveJournal layouts. Literally built like a website from the 2000s because I never learned anymore beyond that lmao

I used to like to make basic web sites for people - animated skulls sound fun. I started learning MySQL, but then life went in a different direction and I completely stopped doin them.

LiveJournal is how I found WrA. There was a women’s WoW group who started posting about it there as soon as it opened.

It’s crazy how many friends I made and still have from LiveJournal.

I was at my friend’s wedding and a mutual friend who was maid of honor did a speech and said, I was a moderator for a group on LiveJournal and little did I know back then that I’d be giving a speech at the wedding for this troll I banned points at friend
