I was just skippin along all happy until I realized that turning in the quest actually takes the 2 null stones.
Theyāre at 7500 now
The economy was badly mismanaged, is unsustainable for a lot of the player base, slaps a 2.5m bank tab as a cherry on top, thereās just no living way all of this wasnāt tuned around selling more tokens.
Thereās no reason to make stuff have such scarcity that will inevitably and obviously drive prices up that explains the decision to make the mats value so.

Whoever in there right mind designed and approved this being a good quest for professions. Needs to be immediately fired and removed from the building. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Even if youāre correct, you didnāt address the root of the problem: complete lack of common sense by whomever designed this weekly mining quest. One gets the sense the Dev Team is trolling the player community with two null stones by demanding both the left and right nuts for 3 skill points. The big concern is if players donāt make a fuss, then the Dev Team might throw more garbage our way until we complain. Thatās how those people have operated from day one.
I turned this quest in on three different characters this week. 
But Iāve also been proccing double full null stones from bismuth veins. So that helps.

I skilled this weekās quest.
I even had the mats, but Iād rather have the $20k from selling them.
I got those in a few minutes by running follower dungeons. I needed cloth anyway.
Every single npc order gives acuity which is scarce and some give knowledge which is equally so.
There is a third reward that sometimes pops up in place of Acuity and Knowledge. Itās a primary stat buff item that you can throw in the AH.
That said, you are right in that the NPC orders are pretty important.

All the quests are pretty badā¦ skinning is the green chitin that doesnāt drop often, enchanting is one epic crystal, mining is null stonesā¦ the quests arenāt even worth it. They were alright in dragonflight but this expansion its not worth doing. You get plenty of skill ups just doing your professions normally. I refuse to give my hard to acquire items for a couple measly pointsā¦ blizz is just timegating everything. And yet somehow, probably the millionairesā¦ are already maxed out. Iām just taking it easy as a normie and letting it come as it goes.
This! You can even fish out null stones from blood red pools in Hollowfell. But with this xpack still only a month old mats will be expensive, in a year everything will be dirt cheap since we will be moving on to new seasons and new zones.
