Keep stacking absurd corruption and they’ll keep knee jerk nerfing all of them. Maybe even remove them entirely? (Wishful thinking)

Sadly, it’s too late for anything meaningful to be done this expansion.

You remove corruption and PMR just becomes cancer again or damp becomes an issue again. There’s no win/win situation.

Ideally, Versa% corruption would be added to the PvP vendors who sell the Blood of the Enemy essence, since they are in game already, making versa available to (everyone) PvPers all the time.

(In a perfect world, corruption would have a blanket nerf of 90% in arena or be disabled)

Conflict and Strife would be changed to:

The Major power of this essence is Conflict, granting a specific PvP ability depending on your specialization:

  • Rank 1 : Allows for the use of your PvP ability in all content.

  • Rank 2 : :star: :star: :star:Doubles the damage reduction effect of your Versatility rating when stunned. :star: :star: :star:

  • Rank 3 : Dispelling, Interrupting or Crowd Controlling a target grants a stack of the Minor power Strife, and doubles the Versatility gained for 5 seconds.

The Minor power of this essence is the passive proc Strife

  • Rank 1 : Your spells and abilities have a 10 RPPM chance to grant Versatility (scaling with Azerite Level) for 8 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. Being crowd controlled grants a stack for free regardless of RPPM.

  • Rank 2 : Increases the duration of the Strife effect 14 seconds.

  • Rank 3 : Increases the maximum stacks to 8.

Conflict and Strife RANK 2 changed:

  • Rank 2 : Increases the Damage bonus provided by Versatility by X% and increases the healing bonus provided by y%.

Every spec would have their own X and Y percent to tune. This would allow for gearing to matter still, it would encourage people to not cheese with vision/memory/breathe majors and could lead into more balanced and evenly pressured games.

Specs that are universally bad, like affliction or enhance, could have a higher bonus than something like mage or DH.

5 months is a long time for the player base to suffer the pvp of Destros, but also too short for them to even really care. :frowning:
