When they give me the option to stand up straight then I’ll race change a few of my characters to Undead. I like the new options not to show bones. The hunch is the biggest problem for me though. Give me good posture and let me cover my feet. What is it with horde and so many of the races being barefoot? Why can’t we enjoy the transmog boots like everyone else? I think in general horde need the option to wear boots or be barefoot.
Perfectly understandable, honestly. I don’t mind the hunch -too- much; I’ve been enjoying playing my Undead Warrior and Hunter both, but, I’d definitely enjoy both my Undeads even more if they could get an upright posture option as customization. It was done for the Orcs, why not the other hunching races? Indeed, why not be able to hunch on all the races that don’t have that posture normally too? Posture customization would be a nice thing!

Seriously, i wish for a more destroyed body option.
Perhaps an option to replace a body part with a part from another corpse that does not fit well (an Orc right arm to replace my right skinny human arm). Or the option to add a third arm that hold a small weapon for aesthetics.
I think of the Forsaken as a fleshy Mechagnome…
Whole point of the horde back in the day was that they were not going to look too human.
I imagine you could only sew so many things on/make so many modifications before you would start to fall apart.
Try stitching up a completely rotted apple.
There is a joke here. And I deserve a cookie for fighting the urge to make it.
lol.
I was thinking more like Frankenstein or Patchwerk.
Just options to be creative with body parts…
Definitely! That was a major dealbreaker to me, especially with plate armor.
You still won’t be able to hide female Forsaken toe bones, unless they make an eleventh hour bugfix for them. Which they probably won’t much like the bugged Mag’har Orc Goatee option that I keep reporting in almost every PTR build.
I fully support the wishes of those who want to play as Spinal from Killer Instinct.
It’s the most Horde-like race I can be on Alliance, since Leper Gnomes aren’t playable.
I’d roll one of those too, they work with the Forsaken lol.
I play both factions, might as well be a double agent.
I just haven’t made either one of the mirror elf races.
she refused to play because the sight of bones… but not cuz its a zombie?
My Warlock would be Undead if my significant other didn’t like Alliance more.
In fact id probably main Horde.
I’m excited for this change, actually.
Horde officially get humans.
yes! because i want my undead mage to look like Elvira now, like in the screen at the convention lol i think that’s a great look
who would want rotting pungent flesh when you can have clean classy bones?
Can they though? Can they really be hidden? If my oddly spiked toes still show through my footwear, they hid nothing!
…seriously though, did they remedy the feet?
They were a dealbreaker for me for years.
Then I found the patch – a 1-line addition to my Config.wtf file that puts in me in “Chinese mode”. No exposed bones on undead, and corpses turn into graves. It even works in Classic WoW.
I want every race, so after I added that patch, I made an undead female Frost mage. It’s one of my 36 level 120s (one of every sub-class).
So you’re saying that SL has an option for this, and I won’t have to modify my config.wtf file? Nice.
Undead was the first race I rolled in WoW because the Scourge was my favorite army in WC3.
But honestly they need to fix the hunch before I would ever go back. The males look like tortoises with their elongated necks
