Oh, then I can speak slower…
It’s a game. Some people learn on their own. Some learn with help. Some games are “simple” like Elden Ring. Some require skill, like Word of Warcraft.

But as we said, swirlies have a 1.5s leeway from appearing to dealing damage, those swirlies are cast by mobs, and those mobs have cooldowns on their abilities. It’s 2 dodges early on, followed by 2 kicks and a curse dispel, and then all cds and everything’s dead before the time anything dangerous would happen again.
The point wasn’t that you don’t need to control things, it was that things are predictable and as such can be planned around.
There is not a single mechanic in all of TWW S1 that, most optimally, has to be handled by hoofing it for 5 seconds without being able to stop or without you knowing beforehand it’s coming.
If by “skill” you literally mean “reading”.
Like blizzard seriously expects players to read all the bosses mechanics in the journal?
That’s not a challenge…it’s just boring. That’s why people don’t know the mechanics.
There definitely aren’t any designed that way, they just happen when things go crazy in m+. When multiple packs mechanics stack it can get nutty. But OP ain’t there yet.
You figure incorrect, most people on GD talk about whichever form of content barely represents their point best in that moment.
In my experience the only time this pull falls apart is
The swirlies haven’t been an issue, even in the failed pulls I’ve had of it.
Yes but even then it’s all hapening for a reason, predictably, and you have the tools to work around it at your disposal.
People act like the experience of mythic+ is running around 24/7 with no opportunity to stand still and cast.
Same, usually no one interrupting. And then it’s insanity. No one interrupting is heinously common.
I started taking Tremor for SV pugging because of it.
As disc, oh crap ranged is on the stairs, he’s los, swrilies up, AOE coming, can’t radiance, mage dies cuz stair los, gets feared, everyone’s 20% HP, uses big penance heal, has to renew cuz can’t stand still for radiance.
Maybe it’s just healer stress lol.
Reading about it, and actually pulling it off are two different things. Then again, if you had more Achievement points and took that monk to 80, we could have an easier conversation. Then you would have experienced most of the game and realized, you can watch all the videos you want, read all the walkthroughs, download all the addons… but if you cannot use them to your advantage to actually beat the fight, then it was all for naught. Also, if it is so boring, the exit to Elden Ring is that way —> Have a nice day.
This game tests us in ways we never thought possible.
Because they like the easiest content ?
The reason people die to WoW mechanics is because they are poorly telegraphed.
Always have been, since 2004. And they still haven’t changed it 20 years later.
Well old world is still missing from retail so I can see why many people moved to classic.
To be fair, when you prog far enough the new world doesn’t exist either. You just portal everywhere, and mount for the ah.
they are in a PUG that doesn’t communicate. Players pushing 12s up to 17s do fine in the most extreme mechanics because they are actually working together in sync, and not just zoning in to a random instance. The more complicated the mechanics, the more forced social interaction. Then again, some folks have no friends, or guild… and this is not my concern. They are adults and can sort it out themselves.
Players pushing 12s up to 17s do fine in the most extreme mechanics because they have advanced addons that do the mechanic for them and also they play the PTR so they know how the dungeon works before it even goes live.
FTFY.
WOTLK was mechanically a joke. The difficulty exploded a few times, first in Cataclysm, then again in Shadowlands.
Wow… you are delusional… the addon is a prompt, the only thing that “does something for someone” is having their eyes and ears open and using their HANDS to move around. Even with flawless addons, people are still flawed and might not move in time for any reason. Maybe you should go log in and play for a bit. I feel like you have ZERO clue how this game works. Or better yet, go back to Elden Ring since it seems to be your baseline of quality game mechanics
“MOVE NOW.”
moves
Wow…elite gamers over here. Race to world first is a true test of skill, and not a pay 2 win crapfest that blizzard doesn’t even know how to balance.
