The pre-patch according to Wowhead’s posted reported leaks has the pre-patch as October 26th and 10.0 as November 28th.

I’m incredibly doubtful of this.

That would mean the prepatch would launch Thanksgiving Week and the expansion would launch Christmas week.

Blizzard has outright delayed patches to avoid this in the past, as most of their staff has that time off.

Shadowlands went live two days before US Thanksgiving in 2020.

After that, any date seems fair game now.
