Servers were only down for 9min. Some of the people on this forum started crying.
Can you talk to your superiors and ask them to enable realm transfers now so queue sizes can be rebalanced across all realms? The fact that this wasn’t enabled as an option isn’t good planning.
I would ask them why they are complaining if it’s 15 minutes or an hour while the Classic realms are up.
