Nothing wrong with these toys

No they haven’t. Calm yo’ hooves down. Exaggeration like this is why GD is so terrible.

Post your Edit: I see the point better, but again I feel they could have TRULY gone insane and they haven’t.

I heard they charged a dollar for a red dot reticle on COD. That’s hilarious.

That’s because, like you, I had no idea about this until I saw this thread - so I already had the tab up. ~.^

That’s CoD not WoW. Sure same parent company, but is currently not affecting us right now.

Reason people get bent out of shape is these items should be in-game as reward for playing the game. Players are all ready spending $15 a month to play the game and BFA has been arguably pretty lackluster in quality content.

When people actually give them money for junk like this it encourages them to continue making more payed content and less in-game content. If people had a little self control and would vote with their wallets so to speak Blizzard would be forced to no longer charge for items like this.

Personally they could put every single cash shop item in a package and sell it for $10 and I wouldn’t cash in a wow token to buy it. Its just the idea these are items that should be in-game and given out as awards for playing and not paying.

What really came to mind–

I meant the toy, but I think we’re BOTH giving them too many bad ideas…

People do this every time something comes out in the store. I have to think a lot of it is just jealousy because they don’t want to or can’t buy the items.

It really is no different than buying something for gold at this point in time imo.

What would be the WOW equivalent you think? Selling mana drinks for $1 a pop?

But there are plenty of rewards and toys and mounts and such already.
you can actually buy them with gold. No need to buy them with real money at all.

Or you know they wanted to let ppl support e-sports and decided to give them a neat prize for their donation. It’s not like this toy is suddeny going to let you clearl Mythic jaina if you’re struggling.

Well it might…

I don’t think so? Because it should just go by x number of toys sold, x amount of money from toy sales and if it’s bought with gold, they should be allowed to pull those funds from token sales. I think that’s how it’s done for charity pets? But don’t quote me on that. I could be entirely incorrect.

The day you can call the shop insane crazy is when you can no longer progress in the game without spending extra money. Right now this is waaaaaaaaay from that. Not even 1% dire.

Pulling from Token Sales would constitute their pockets I would think. In any case, im ok with the donation. At least they have done 100% for when the charity is affecting real world stuff.

SWTOR’s a la cart service pricing vs monthly sub for all of the services remains in my mind the poster child of game-shop craziness-
Spend $46/month on all these ‘perks’ individually or $15 for a sub.
Oh, and also, limited time loot boxes while we’re at it…

That is why from the very beginning I saw DLC’s for what they truly were. Gateway drug into ninja profits. Gawd I fing hate DLC’s…

Yeah and I’ve played SWTOR and WoW is no where remotely even close to that.

-All opinion. I did play both

but someone else payed for the equivalent in wow tokens

An RNG transmog to go with my RNG gear lit by RNG firework patterns. Fascinating. Pure RNG. Pure thought. Totally incorporeal. Not life as we know it at all.

Edit: Sorry I was just informed that it is NOT an RNG transmog but an RNG transmorph. Carry on.
