Some people don’t even seem to try. Dragon racing bags are just one example of things to have a steady gold income. I’m making 10-15k each day almost passively just by posting some green profession equipment, enchanting illusions from old expansions and some toys. That’s such a small effort and everybody can do it just by learning professions and get a bit of skill points in 20 minutes. Most people don’t really have problems with making gold, they’re just looking for excuses.

I just refunded Starfield yesterday, because I felt the boring copy-paste space-themed reskin of past (better) Bethesda games to not be worth $70.
And you know what?
That saddle is certainly not worth 50k.
The folks that think this is okay are exactly why gaming is the way it is.
They’ve spent mountains already and you can’t really tell someone they’ve made a bad investment or they’ll come after you lol.
Reject AAA, indie games are where it’s at apparently. I’m having way more fun there, and in Classic.

For a cosmetic item no less. I’ve paid 60K for a mog. And thought it was a steal. Ginn-su, I wanted swords on back appearance. That mog at times in BFA was at 300K on a cheap day back in the day.
I jumped on that 60K as the dungeon that had it would not drop it after 10’s of tries. I killed stuff even wowhead said it doesn’t drop just in case lol. Desparation said wowhead could be wrong, right?
Its not core features like say 5 k gold to fly fast, 4500 with rep in outland. Or paying for 8 ranks of the same spell. and then another 8 ranks for another spell.
How dare (optional cosmetic thing) cost a lot of money!

Dragon racing is not the best but the lowest effort gold farm ever (you can run them naked on a recent leveled character). You can also log and go to zaralek cavern to farm obsidian scale once per day (5k average on many populated servers). Sell pets on high pop servers.
There are many paths, you just not trying hard enough, I don’t blame you but don’t tell it’s hard to get 50k in a week for casual players because it isn’t.
no , the price is high because not many people are buying tokens for real money to put on AH , supply is extemely low so prices are high. Thats how supply and demand works , the price will only drop when there are more tokens being put on teh AH then being sold per day . A couple of times recently I have been unable to buy tokens because there were none on teh AH to buy

BULL. I make all my gold from just playing teh game . WQs, dungeons , raids , professions , killing stuff , world events ( flavour packet that can drop from weekly cooking quest sells for between 70 and 200k depending on time of season ) , paragon rep chests ( the ones you get for each 7500 rep past max renowned with factions ) . its so easy to get .
I am 1.75 million in profit this expansion after spending around 7 million so far ( nearly 4 million on professions at the start , 2 million on game time , rest on things like getting things crafted , repairs and consumables ) so if you cant make gold you are not trying .
Its teh same every expansions , gold has been very easy to make for quite a few expansions now
