INB4 people say 50K gold is easy to get. For casual players its not.

If you’re so casual that you don’t have 50k to buy this, and, in your own complaint, an item so specific that it only works on one dragonriding mount, then there must literally be thousands of items that you cannot afford. Just to satisfy my own curiosity, why is this silly saddle your hill?

I am The Casual of casual players and I bought one. Hell, I have enough gold to do that and not a lot to spend it on, because I use a lot of my casual play making gold.

Was it expensive? Yes it was but I felt like buying it and nobody was going to stop me!

The price is bad but worst of it is the method of getting it. You don’t do some fun group quest with friends dressed as pirates on a adventure. You just walk up to a vendor and say buy…is it too hard to ask for even basic Goonies style adventure…hell they could have a NPC who teleports you into Deadmines to kill a special boss. But no…

I kind of like the saddle. Feels more like an adventurer saddle though than a pirate one… bags of treasure are why we are all murder hobos afterall anyway.

I like the diablo event back transmog for the same reason!

My only problem with it, it just for one dragon, it should be for all five dragons, this also includes the brewfest, day of the dead, and the Hallow’s End armor too.

50k is 100 dragon racing bags.

If you do 10 a day, which isn’t hard or time consuming for a casual, that’s 50k in 10 days.

They don’t spawn every day and there’s not quite that amount either. So many bad arguments about how ‘easy’ gold is to make lol. Like there’s already not a crazy amount of stuff for gold to go towards already.

I feel like I barely even need gold in wow these days.

Buying this was an easy decision, not just because 50k gold is chump change (it is), but because I have almost nothing else to spend gold on lately.

Gear is basically free at this point, so buying BOE’s on the AH is pointless. I dont think there has been a new Bind on Use mount in like 2 expansions. Gems and enchants are dirt cheap.

My twink characters used to be a decent gold sync when BIS was various BOE gear, but now its all dungeon drops, and you cant even enchant stuff because low level enchants have broken item level requirements. So even Twink characters now just cost time.

Seriously, what does everyone even spend their gold on?!?! I only have one max level character, who I barely play, and even I have several hundred thousand gold just chilling with little to nothing to spend it on,

Not trying to be a jerk, I am genuinely curious were all your gold goes. Powerleveling professions? Chugging consumables 24/7? Transmog addiction? Boosts?

There was a brief period of time when the S.E.L.F.I.E. patch launched in WoD that Blizz accidentally removed the restricted name filter. There were a lot of player names with swear words in their names the following few days. Starting zone general chats were wild.

Completely stupid your char name is even on the restricted list because of religion defining it as an evil name. Lucifer is such a nice sounding name if one removes the negative religious connotations. Im shocked you havent been reported and forced to rename.
