Nothing says "Casual Content" like 50K gold for a dragon saddle

I like you.

I kind of agree with both sides here.

While it’s true, 50k gold isn’t that much or that hard to get, it isn’t exactly pocket change either, and it’s definitely way too much for a single drake customization. :upside_down_face:

just wait for the 20th brewfest happens and another dragonflight customization will drop from the boss or 500 or 200 tickets

I’d like to know more about this dragonriding saddle I can get for 50k.

Much like Theo here, I wanna know more. And also 50k is so easy to get it’s not even funny. Literally do a few time rifts, buy a battle pet with the flakes, sell it. OR just do the races. Almost 600 gold a racer bag, and depending on how many characters you have, you could have it in less than a day.

You can get 10,000 gold by doing the gold world quests, racing world quests and picking up treasures in like 1-2 hours of play time.

50k is not hard.

Dragon races, gold WQs and maybe the occasional selling something on the AH. Even if you only play a couple characters it shouldn’t be that difficult to get 50k. I think I can get 10k a week on just one character doing what I mentioned.

before the dreamsurge if you have 10 alts you can get 60k gold a week

It’s ridiculously overpriced. I’d be curious to see the statistics on how many players actually buy it, I’d be willing to bet it’s less than 1% of active accounts.

Everyone in this thread trying to defend it is saying you can get 50k super easy, but that’s not the point? I have millions of gold. I’m still not going to pay 50k for one piece of armor on a single mount and that can’t even be used with it’s best appearances.

Do the soup event. Takes about 2 minutes to complete. You should be able to snag a flavor pocket every other month on average. They were just selling for 90k for several months and are back down to about 50k. I have 8 characters that I do almost every week and I get 1-3 a week in 15 minutes time. It’s part of my Tuesday routine, check the weekly vault then Brakehide portal and do soup.

Casuals with near zero play time have plenty of easy access to gold; go complain about something else like th le fact that the cavern has been dead since week 2 of the patch.

I’ve put in up to a few hours grinding out the rep and alternate currencies and achievements for some dragonriding customizations that also only affect one model.

A few hours of my time is currently worth $40.38 an hour. So there are definitely some appearances that I’ve put like $120 of my efforts into.

Compared to this one, a fun holiday thing, that’s worth about $3 of the $20 to buy 330,000 gold if people have somehow managed to get through this expansion with no gold at all. Even just leveling an alt, I usually end up with 60-70k gold on them by the time the process is done.

You’re the OP

What is this ‘saddle’ being referenced?

pfft. I am casual as the come, loot everything and sell everything you don’t need. I had close to 100k when I hit 70.

Saddle armor for highland drake with a pirate chest attached. From Booty Bay vendor for Pirates Day.

Oh. Today only. So much for that. I can’t get on today lol

you have until 10am tomorrow morning iirc

I’ll be at work so, yeah. Gonna miss this one.
