I think of people who collect things IRL, like stamps, fossils or shark teeth and think that’s 100% pointless. If someone enjoys collecting those things, who cares as long as they aren’t doing anything illegal? I extend that to collecting pointless things like mounts, in WoW.
At the end of the day, I’ll never understand people being jealous of someone on a certain mount. I don’t PVP worth 2 cents, so why should I be jealous of a glad on a glad mount? Good for them. If I am riding a mount, it’s because I like it and not because I’m trying to show off “I’m better.” People who want to go and do mount offs can knock themselves out.
