WoW has always had a ton of solo content so what’s your point?
It has a lot of solo content, it also has a lot of group content.
Including several of the rune quests.
(One of the better parts of classic is the open world group content, so if you’re playing classic to just solo content and cruise the game that way, you’re in for a bad time.)
I really liked the challenge of the Meta quest and did it as soon as I turned 25. I had a small guild so did it by myself. The hardest part was the Redridge Towers (I have a horde lock). I honestly was going to corpse run until I got the items needed. Lucky for me two alliance locks were just running in and I joined them and we helped each other kill to the top and it worked! I have also gotten an important rune for my lock with the help of an Alliance Pally who just happened to be near me.
Part of the fun of this is the randomness and fun of these situations. This is not retail - it’s meant to be the Classic frustrating experience plus.
I did get help from my guildies for my priest in a bigger guild and it was a lot of fun. I am glad for the challenge. I wish you similar luck and fun!

Flight paths and auto running IS the game.
The questline was for sure unique and had that class fantasy flavour for sure. However with it being later in the season finding groups is a lot harder to find (even for low level runes needing 2 people can be rare to come across). I hit 25 2 days before p2 launched on this warlock. I leveled to 27-28 and soloing the demons for the bloods and the ritual part was no problem. Getting the items from the towers can be done solo with some clever los and pathing and a death run, although its a tad tedious. The elites outside BFD can be picked off and solod at 25. It is a bit of a bummer that doing the questline now is a lot more tedious, but you should have no issues by 30 at the latest to solo the entire chain.
