I will probably dip out for the new expansion of FFXIV once it releases and then fall back to WoW once WW drops.
Mostly just do mythic + now

Let’s hope it’ll still be here. It’s sink or swim time for wow. Hear that ion? No more pathfinders or you’[ll find yourself on the path to retirement.
I thought the same thing too, but instead what I did was go to a new server (proudmoore/us /) and created a shaman goblin… and im loving it… and on my main char I just do the mythic + to get the point to get to hero season three …
Ah, Voodoogaege.
Yeah I’m out as well til prepatch maybe, only other thing that could bring me back before then is pandamonium, depending on what that is and what it rewards. Not a bad thing, DF definitely kept me around longer than bfa/sl by a mile.
I’ve done this for the last 4-5 expansions. I’ll play the first part, then unsub. Mine runs out in 8 days. I’ll be back at the end of S4 in time to get KSM before the expansion lands. But I’m on to Baldur’s Gate and ESO until then.
I do that periodically too. I’m currently taking a break and playing Palia instead.
Yup. Ill watch for tww updates and see how it plays out. But in its current version the game just isnt for me anymore. Worst case scenario it had a good run.
As a warrior? According to the forums, warriors can’t run keys.
I’m staying subbed and mostly raid logging, while also working on some other stuff from Dragonflight or previous expansions.
Not really looking forward to season 4: Dragonflight “Victory” lap edition, so my list of other games to play and books to read will be getting some attention until the War Within launches.
Same. I came back, because they lured me in with the Gilneas stuff… I probably don’t need to say what a disappointment that was. Granted, a disappointment I should have expected, but well. After this month, there’s going to be a longer break again if the next patch doesn’t bring something good, against all expectations.
I probably won’t even buy the next expansion. Because sorry, but a third dwarf copy & paste clone, along with a few quality of life changes that should have come years ago, and on top of that, an underground expansion… none of it really worth paying for in my opinion.
I’ll prob be spending a good bit of my S4 time in Cata Classic or SoD - so my sub will still be going - but there are def things I still wanna do in S4. So, I’m hyped either way
BUT - breaks are needed and are important - see you back in TWW!
I’m about to that point here. I think I’ll play out the time I have now, I’m mainly trying to get that new rep and currency, I’ll grab my Feb TP, and keep an eye on things happening.
Timewalking event may keep me playing until my time runs out, levelling some toons, but I’ve become pretty bored playing. That’s when I know it’s time to take another break, and I’ve taken lots over the years.I’ve never once said I was quitting.
I personally plan on staying with the game until I can snag the season 4 mount like shadowland’s slime kitty. after that though? I’m kinda be living in classic
I have a feeling theres going to be a pretty big drop in population for s4. Im reaching the time to take a break point soon myself l. I need a +20 Galakrond Fall to get all 20s which was my goal and I would like to down heroic fyrakk with the guild. We’ve gotten him down to 30% so probably in the next few weeks.
Other than that I have a few renowns to do for customization and transmog but those can also be done later.
I ended up getting the new game itch like a lot of people right now and picked up Palworld and Enshrouded, both are very fun and will probably take up a lot of my time till expansion.
Pretty much what I’m doing with FFXIV. Taking a break until either Dawntrail or something major. Though There is that Moogle Trove coming back… Still that’s a lot of grinding.
Well the legendary just dropped for me last night, so ima finish that and maybe it might reel me back in to do more higher keys, but honestly… im just trying to get out more now. Go to sedona, or mt zion, just be out in nature more.
Or i might just get into enshrouded because it is kinda fun being i only played for about an hour so far
IF the reboot of Cata is not like it was back when it first launched… You may see the last of Cooperbrew too… I’m not willing to play the reboot of Cata with this rune crap implemented into the game. If you like SoD with the runes, by all mean keep it going on that server not during Cata’s reboot. Plus, wow lost me when Battle for Azeroth dropped, then continued to decline when shadowlands and now Dragon Flight… Just not willing to play those games. I personally think these expans should have their own servers…
Hard to imagine the next thing won’t be the same as the last thing. So I’m probably not buying a WoW expansion at launch for the first time in the history of playing this game. No joke.
The MMO was better in the hands of 50 dedicated old timers than it is today. Today it is inflexible, sterile, bloated and just not fun.
yeppers I am not playing right now either… I may play the war within but … right now it not very likely… not burnt out but … they keep changing thing every season which is like 8 weeks and that its not good… I just want one story for two year not cut up in little pieces and they just put in whatever the they want when they want whether it makes sense or not … wasted so much time on the tyr quest and hoping wrathion would do something all the characters are now just disposible bye ysera bye wrathion bye anduin buy genn … there falling like flys.
