Not having 8.2 on the PTR is a slap in the face

SLAP IN THE FACE I TELL YOU!!! You told us it would be on there quickly after 8.1.5. These massive changes to Azerite will probably determine if I resub. Keeping up with prot and Ret Azerite sets is a pain and reforge cost are stupid high.

We need serious clarity on how the Azerite system will work in 8.2 with details. This is a pretty big deal to the playerbase and we are getting complete silence.

Meanwhile Lore and Ion will blow off most of the questions today.

You mean you won’t tune in to the wonderful questions as to when they are adding more micro holidays and how they plan to increase the duration of the famous Trial of Style event?

Nope it is calling out their devs for their own words!

Anyone that says “slap in the face,” or any variation there of, is a troll.

Well that is just a slap in the face good sir. I am pointing out a pretty clear issue that the longer 8.2 is delayed the PTR the more poorly it will get tested.

This is a major deal because 8.2 is basically BFA’s only hope of getting out of the complete dump it is in.

I’m sure it will be on there when it’s ready.
People complain when they put things out too slow, people complain when they put things out too early.
Threads like this are why I don’t take what you say seriously, ever.

8.1.5 hasn’t been out that long, so they haven’t said anything wrong. This is all a point of perspective problem. Your quickly probably isn’t the same as their quickly. Just because you disagree, doesn’t mean they aren’t still on track to do exactly what they planned. They also didn’t give an exact date to avoid the posts just like this one.

Look not sure how you play this game but I am getting sick and tired of play Prot having my health range from 300k to 400k because of some stupid proc chance that is not predictable.

My guildmates are tired of having to reforge and pay ever increasing stupid high prices to have the right traits that work for a raid boss.

The story is boring and the gear is aggravating compounded with a ridiculous RNG system of obtaining upgrades. So yeah call me a troll if it makes you feel better but I would like for my guild to log on so we can actually do a raid without having to pug people.

Yeah I want to see what their solution is for a completely broken expansion right now.

I didn’t call you anything you called yourself that. All I said is I don’t take you seriously, and when you create clickbait titles like this why should I. They release things on the ptr when they are ready for testing, it’s not a slap in the face.
I’m outta here I’m not giving you more attention I have better things to do.

Clickbait headlines are called good marketing.

I literally took a raid tier to the knee while I was on the phone that I own.

Where do people come up with random changes? You seem to imply that azerite gear will change traits depending on your spec like old tier sets did. I haven’t seen or heard anything to that regards. The only thing they have said, and even that was theorycrafting on Ion’s behalf, was that the one of the changes could be to make gear unlocked when you get it. That’s been the only change to the azerite system talked about. And just to put it out there, you can expect that only gear moving forward would have these changes. They’re not going to unlock all azerite gear already in your bags if that’s the change that is actually implemented, just like they didn’t go back and add 5th rings to older azerite gear.

Players are getting closer and closer (and some min-maxers are already there) to having their neck levels reach 50. You can also expect that any abilities which may be granted to the neck, will be granted at higher levels. The grind isn’t going to disappear, it’s just going to depend on what abilities off the neck players want to get.

There’s a difference between making changes to a core system halfway through the expansion’s life cycle, and completely redoing the system so late. Players should prepare for changes, but not expect a complete redesign.

They could put 8.2 on the ptr, but it will cost you a raid tier.

No, these are slaps in the face.

As far as I understand it will take neck and put in the Azerite traits that you can work towards. Current Azerite pieces will be turned into normal gear without the random Azerite traits and farming required.

Stop trying to copy Raistlin.

You don’t even do it right.
