Hey all, I have now done the Stormarion Assault 3 times, sitting through the victory timer each time, waiting the 10 minutes for the assault to start, sitting through and activating defense pylons for each of the 3 waves, rinse and repeat and not getting credit for the WQ.
I am in a group with 1 friend, and they are receiving the caches each time we do the event and I am not. Unsure what to try next to get credit for this as it’s a big time sink.
Each time it completes, I do get housing XP and community coupons, otherwise no other rewards and the WQ shows as still available

I’m also having the problem, can’t get it to complete. I even got the achieve for 100% defense but no chest and now the WQ is gone too.

For two weeks in a row I’ve got no drop or rewards of any kind from it either while my wife in the same party did.

I’ve experienced a similar problem with the assault. I got credit for the “world tour” quest but not the world quest.

Are you guys there from the very beginning? Ive only gotten credit if im there when it starts

Yes, I waited through the end of one and did the entirety of the next one. No credit for the WQ.

Yes, sat through the entire “off period” countdown as well, just literally sat at the center pylon for 3 entire rotations of the whole event, victory countdown, off time, then set up time etc

same issue here. i tried 3 times, I cant get the reward/completion

I have the world quest before the assault starts, but after it begins the quest disappears. Once the assault completes the world quest comes back. I’ve just stayed at the assault through several cycles to try and complete it.

Yes exactly the same for me
I just completed the entire assault twice and still don’t have credit for the world quest. I even deployed one of the defenses and the world quest shows 0/1 for deployed defenses. I did it once solo and once in a party with one other person.

I just looked, and I got credit for the “A Singular Problem” achievement (complete all three waves of the assault) but did not get credit for the WQ.

I just sat through this twice, participated and laid down some traps. 0%. I’m sorta angry I wasted 20 minutes of my life.

Yep my priest is stuck at 33% when I know my guildmate had their WQ complete
I have done it 3 times no progress can be made for me.

So this world quest bug happened to me 3 times on my DH alt, then I did this and it finally didn’t happen
potential fix on alts:
-
In Silvermoon go to 55,70 in the inn, talk to Soridormi and skip the midnight campaign

in Silvermoon go to 45,70, talk to Lor’themar and make sure you have the “Midnight: World Tour” quest
maybe just rng though
Doesn’t work for me either. Was there from 4 minutes before start through the very end. No credit.
