Nostalgia Time

When the game first came out It seemed to take forever to level to 40 for the mount so, It was fun on its own to play alliance and trek all the way to the Scarlet Monastery to get gear and exp.

It took a couple hours to get there on foot but that was half the fun. It didn’t seem to have very many flight paths at the time for alliance in that area.

Buns of steel. Whenever my old guild dungeoned or raided. I would have to walk there from where ever the closest flight master was. And if I did not have the closest one it was a journey in itself! Depended on Warlocks a lot back then!

The og Barrens back in the day, peak nostalgia imo :ok_hand:

Oh gawd…I remember the horrible drop rate on lion jaws, strider beaks, and Zhevra hooves…a long time spent there…a long time.

How did those zhevra even walk?!

our leveling friend getting on his 60 to kill these gankers in hinterlands. Chased em all the way back to the horde base. Could’t kill them but they ran away. He was a holy paladin. Creagle, if you are out there buddy, we love ya.

First time I actually asked that why is nothing dropping if I can see the &^& hooves. There was a great artist at the time that made a meme of it a long time ago. Blizzard used to showcase them.

Since I started in Cataclysm, I’m actually quite fond of Vashj’r, even though I know it’s quite unpopular due to most people hating underwater combat.

But… It’s actually a beautiful zone with great music.

The original Plaguelands (both), and the quests there. Some of the best stuff there that solidified me playing WoW.

Also, Northrend and Legion areas.

Teldrassil was my first zone and I loved it so I’ll say that one

Duskwood. My first character in 2004 was a human paladin, and it was the time of my life. Loved the whole aesthetic and storytelling out there, and my holy charge to dispense justice upon that vile, forsaken land.
Instead of my paladin dying a hero, it seems I’ve lived long enough to become the villain…

Winterspring. Still remember going there with my first Hunter to tame a large worm pet that blizz had “forgotten” to size limit. Still have that hunter and pet, and it’s still huge! xD

Original Un’Goro crater with the pop out of nowhere devilsaur, classic. Paladin’s making the pilgrimage for Linken’s boomerang so they can pull nonchalantly. All the freaking crrystals mang, and climbing up into nook and crannies for the Earthen cores or whatever those were. Thorium ore. Gorilla quest hah.
