Non subscribers bing able to post topics and replies on general discussion thread

Since new forums went live . Non subscribers of wow whose subscription has already lapsed are freely posting on general discussion thread which is leading to spam and more inflmable environment for us gene unite subscriber of the game . We don’t pay subscription every month to be hit by spam from non subscribers .

I’ll say it again:
While it was possible at the launch of the new forum to post without a subscription, that is no longer possible. The only exception is the forum can be slow to update with a player’s game time status which allows them to post freely but that period isn’t long. Non-subscription accounts are permitted to post in Support areas as they have for years along with realm threads, New Player Help, and Classic Discussion.

This isn’t entirely true. It seems if you have 1 active sub and several inactive ones on the same Battlenet account you can post on any toon you own.

If they are Spamming, why aren’t reporting them for Spam?

Technically you’re still a paying customer and should have full access. I don’t have a problem with that rolling across licences. The OP keeps alleging , here and in CS, that people with NO active account can post on all forums. Simply not true.

I think some people, like the OP, are confusing some things. There was an issue when the new forums first went live where people were able to post without having a sub, this was fixed pretty quickly though, however there were posts about it and people went kind of nuts. Then you have timing issue, where there seems to be a bit of lag where an account can still post after the sub ends, which seems to be a day or two at most. There is also the people that cancel their subs but still post while the sub is technically still active waiting for the paid time to run out.

At least that is what I’m thinking is going on here.
