Nobody Talking About Next Expansion?

OK, Nostradamus.

Lmao seriously?

15th anniversary of WoW, 20th anniversary of Warcraft, and the fact that expansion reveals have ALWAYS been every two years. Also, they need to give the players something considering the game is in a rather relatively abysmal state compared to the past.

I expect that people are put off by Blizzard’s performance with BfA.

So what if they tell us what the next expac will have? They lied to our faces with BfA.

So what if they say they’re de-pruning the classes? It’s clear they aren’t going to listen to feedback, just like they didn’t listen when people said they’d gone too far before.

Blizzard’s word and hype means exactly bupkus. They betrayed our trust and treated us like garbage.

That’s a bit of an over-exaggeration.

Yeah, BFA sucks, but they gave us exactly what would be in the game with the beta. They just didn’t listen to our feedback.

There’s no betrayal. Just… difference in thought.

Months before that they announced that 6.2 would be the last patch for WoD. They didn’t just, after the patch, go “Surprise! There are no more patches for this expansion!”

They would have announced it by now if that were the case. I get that its “cool” to hate on BfA and that there is a crowd of players who want to see the game fail, but that’s not happening with BFA.

Sure. Mob mentality exists, but I think a lot of people take issues with the game that they love, hence their complaints.

The company that has adopted stonewalling its customers on feedback, to the point that they got rid of most of their CS presence, would be open about their plans?

Come on.

It took a year of BfA to get Ion to admit that there was a problem at all.

New fish! (i’m pretty easy to please)

well there was lots of speculation about what came after Legion, everyone was predicting old gods or aszhara expansions. Then we got Battle for Azeroth pulled out of nowhere and everyone collectively went whaaaa? where the hell did that come from?

and then… and then… BFA morphed into old gods and Azshara. Two things that arguably could have been their own expansions.

So, it’s hard to speculate when you have no idea what kind of weird turn the story is going to take.

Oops i forgot who i was talking to. Still surprised i see green text since nothing you post is “valuable”

They are talking about it. It’s called Classic. No its not the next expansion, but it is the next big launch.

At this stage I’m just hoping the next expansion is AMAZING!

Sick of artifacts and the mission board. Let’s hope there’s something brand new and more exciting

I was pessimistic after WoD, optimistic after Legion, and we’re back to pessimism.

Sorry if I’m not exactly clamoring for more, I’ll be excited if we see some serious changes at Blizzcon.

Mage playing the same, but having altered time as a talent option won’t exactly do it for me.

When they’ve done two expansions in a row with expansion-locked content, it doesn’t give me confidence they’ll stop. Besides, they’ve also done AP grinds two expansions in a row. This only reinforces the mindset they consider it a Good Design for “longevity” so they’re likely to do it again.

It won’t be the first time they promised to fix, balance and adjust classes. Nor will it be the last. They’ve ruined some otherwise fun classes on previous attempts to “fix” things.

I’d say that often pretty common. MoP did that for example.

Hasn’t even been confirmed lol

Im not sure what would get me really really excited for the next expansion. I just want to see what they have planned and decide if it’s awesome I suppose lol

Bet it’s a void lord expansion though!

8.2 is in a few days and Classic is coming in August. Plus many haven’t been happy with the current expansion so what did you expect?

The bar is low and im sick of old gods at this point. Hopefully 8.3 is the end of them. Most thought northrend 2 would be this expansion instead we got whatever bfa is for theme. All over the place. A lich king, sargeras dual threat would get my interest, and lots of design changes.
