Nobody is crying about PvP

I plY on a heavy sided hirde and alliance controls brm more times then naught

I agree lad

Seems like you’re unable to comprehend text. Sad.

It is about the “PvP”. 'Cause every “solution” and/or “suggestion” leads to making the Servers more PvE like :cocktail:

It’s absolutely true, for exactly the first reason you gave.

There’s simply more people, and regardless of faction balance, there are going to be more people in the world, and they aren’t going to be evenly distributed in each zone throughout the world.

Blockquote That’s exactly right. Escalations always end badly for Alliance since there are more Horde. Do you not see how that is less fun for Alliance, to know that when push comes to shove, they will invariably lose?

Bro what do you not comprehend about this? I said if there is an EQUAL fight of 5v5 and me and my friends destroy the 5 alliance because theyre just not nearly as experienced in PvP as we are, then they go ahead and call in 3-4 people. So the Alliance are the ones escalating due to the fact they got stomped in an equal fight, making it 9 or 10v5 to make up for their lack of ability is simply asking for Horde to come bring in more people and use their pop to their advantage. It doesnt matter if it isnt “fun”, if you lose a completely equal numbered fight and escalate by calling in double the numbers, you deserve to get zerged and you created that situation for yourselves. Either get better, or move somewhere else then…pretty simple stuff here my guy.

Blockquote Probably not, because you’re on the advantaged side.

Blockquote Essentially, your argument is that one side is better and more numerous, so, either the other side should reroll, or just accept that they will usually lose.

Do me a favor for a second, point out where I even remotely said or even insinuated the other side should reroll or accept that they usually lose. Oh wait, you cant because theyre your words, not mine. My argument is pretty clear, if theres an equal numbered fight and the ally get cleared easy, calling in 3 or 4 or 5 more to make up for the fact they individually suck at PvP(not all ally) is choosing their own fate and one they cannot cry about. You dont get to force the Horde to go get numbers because of a gap in skill and then get to go cry about it too.

Blockquote That is not a formula for a fun situation.

Blockquote I’m not asking for anything to be changed. It’s Classic. But this lack of awareness of the situation from many Horde players is childish.

Lol wow, not exactly sure how you completely failed to comprehend what I said at all, and claim im saying things that I clearly did not say. Clearly the one who has a lack of “awareness” (or maybe its your reading comprehension and logic), if you think forcing horde to get more numbers due to your personal lack of skill even in fights that begin equal, and then crying about it, is logical. Because it isnt. A good deal of the time in EQUAL 4-10 man fights, the horde still win…so how are you going to cry so hard about population as if thats the biggest factor? A lot of the ally ONLY PvP(or only ever get HKs) by forming a big group, stacking mages/pallys/priests to make it just some AoEbot fest at some place that has a narrow choke point. That isnt PvP, its making up for some of their lack of experience/skill in PvP, and creates the very problem youre crying about. The good ally have no problem going out in smaller groups and getting kills, and theyll get killed by a bigger horde group at times. Same thing happens to me all the time on horde since I dont usually roll with a big squad and dont like to.

i think incelf understands your post better then you do.

uhhhhhh what lol that makes absolutely no sense but okkkk

so having a somewhat close to equal fight in numbers is pve? huge brain hoard

If you don’t see people crying about PvP, you must be blind.

Pretty much, servers are full of bored 60 people farming honor, if faction balance was better these players would have a better fight but thats about it.

Honor farming and lack of content is the cause, not population or faction imbalance, those are just visible now people are raid locked and need honor

Mainly becuase there isn’t that much faction imbalance. A few servers are heavily lopsided. Most are not. But people still complain about imbalance on the most balanced servers.

It is an easy excuse to latch on to.

They are complaining about PvP on PvP servers.

I’m saying it’s difficult to understand the complaints about faction imbalance when the problems it supposedly causes are things that happen regardless of faction imbalance.

That’s all I see. Whiners and complainers who refuse to group up. That’s why there’s complaining about 1v5. Bunch of PvE solo players rolled the wrong realms.

That’s the irony of it all. All the whiners complain about the “community spirit” not existing in classic, yet they all think they can solo everything. P2 actually greatly increased the sense of community, as I regularly quest with a 5-man group in order to survive PvP encounters.

Well, on the plus side it’ll go away in a few months once servers empty out of one faction and there’s nobody left to complain or pvp against.

Having a more controlled PvP is PvE, yes :cocktail:

PvP realms always leaned heavily Horde. This information was freely available. There’s nothing wrong with wanting a balanced-faction PvP realm; expecting one has guaranteed dashed expectations wrong with it, and demanding loudly that Blizzard give it to you has a great deal wrong with it. If my neighbor climbs into a tree and announces loudly that he thought hot fudge sundaes grew in that tree, my reaction’s not going to be about “it’s bad for you to want a hot fudge sundae”–it’s going to be about “it was unrealistic for you to think you could pick a hot fudge sundae off that tree.” If he then settles down on an uncomfortable-looking branch and declares that he’s not climbing down from the tree until someone brings him a hot fudge sundae, I’m going to shrug and walk away from him. (In this analogy, this is the “no, I won’t move to a PvE realm, Blizzard needs to fix this!” player.) If he says that now he sees he’d rather not be in the tree, but climbing it was an experience he doesn’t want to repeat so he isn’t leaving it unless someone carries him out of it, I’m going to shrug and walk away from him. (This is the “I’ll move to a PvE realm only if Blizzard gives me a transfer for the character(s) I’ve already leveled!” player.)

There is also the fact that all of the proposed solutions I’ve seen–“faction queues,” “new players on this realm being barred from creating Horde characters,” “forced transfers for Horde members”–look like awful ideas aimed at vindictively punishing people for playing the faction the poster doesn’t play. If the neighbor in question is bellowing that other people need to be punished because he didn’t get his hot fudge sundae, my sympathy for him is really going to evaporate quickly.

Didn’t think this post would gain so much traction. Cheers for the input, contributions, and suggestions.

I don’t think anything will be done, however. I see less and less Alliance daily and the only thing I think Blizzard should’ve at least tried to do was give us BGs faster. 3-4 weeks is a long time for those on lopsided servers. There was a reddit post about a horde on Heartseeker that was upvoted (the most)… so I find it amusing that when Horde cry about faction imbalance and not being able to play, it is ‘upvoted’… but when Alliance do it, they receive the ‘get good’ ‘pvp happened’.

Anyway, game appears to be dying rapidly on my server. Hardly any Alliance in STV and almost none in Tanaris (compared to mobs of horde gank squads in both areas). Let’s hope that BGs brings people back and fixes some of the concerns

Nobody had any issues untill servers full of raid locked, bored , honor farming level 60s had nuthing better to do.

But isnt classic “full” of fun things to do at cap ???n
