And then still complain it’s a carpet and not a DUCK.
Right? Like, anyone, anyone should have seen the protentional for trolling with a boss summon mechanic where anyone can drag the egg any direction they want.
You seem to keep acting obtuse over this, while most are asking for there not to be droprates, but to be earned through a vendor that takes the length of the event to earn.
Let’s try to understand the actual issue with holiday events, k? Thanks.
Comments like these tell me people don’t even play other games to understand the design compared to others.
There exist very loud players who will find anything to complain about, even if it’s not how the game works.
RNG rewards are something they have latched on, because RNG has become a buzzword.
At this point buzzword has become a buzzword for “thing i dont like”
This sounds familiar…
wheres the duck mount
BIG W…TYVM. The wow team is on fire.
How the game works? Excuse me? Noblegarden never had an RNG boss before. Nor did it need one. Everything new could have been added to the vendor for high amounts of currency— like they did for Love is in the Air, like many told them was better design, like some other MMOs also do.
You can have your opinions on the design all you want, that’s your perogative. But don’t expect to be praised for the condescension and dismissal that tend to go with it.
Linxy, hi.
There’s a 2 year old post that gets nonstop feedback about drop rates from Valentines Day event that you started.
Can you explain how that entire thread was ignored and you guys needed feedback from this one - which has the very same complaints?
To imply that this kind of feedback is new enough for an update to be made suggests either the years of feedback has been either ignored or just forgotten.
To use an analogy from someone else: there are some very loud players who will complain that the blue umbrellas blizzard is selling need to be blue instead of red.
Thank you for changing the rate, I finally got it c: Please consider this for the next event, as well…
Can you explain this analogy and how it applies here when Blizzard literally hotfixed something to be more in line with player desires?
The explanation will probably make even less sense.
They aren’t the issue here. The holiday/event design is the issue.
It’s relevant because I’m saying that no matter what they do on this: someone will complain about it.
As we can see in this thread: 2 of the 5 posts directly after blizzard announced their changes are complaining about the mount.

I’m sure you would have held this opinion yesterday, before Blizzard came out and actually updated it. Is it possible this latest fix isn’t enough? I don’t know, I suppose.
Complaints aren’t always valid but they’re not always invalid. Your analogy is bad and you should stop using it.
You are complaining about people complaining. I am going to tell you the same thing I tell people who comment ‘who cares’ on my local news on Facebook.
Nobody is forcing you to interact with these threads, nor is anyone forcing you to read them in the first place.
Not even kidding I did it 13 toons for 2 days and on the 3rd day halfway through my hunter had two bags… one from that day and one from the day before and both had the mount shame it wasn’t traceable
