there’s nothing to talk about on the development end, we know the full schedule of releases, all the info we’re missing is release dates, and that’s not really worth a whole panel dedicated to it.
they could talk about what’s going to happen after P6, but they probably won’t do that until around P4

Good news! Blizz just released an amendment to their itinerary, per the hot button issues on the Classic forums:
- Hunters are feeling pretty gimped

- Cleave Meta is dumb
- Why are these rogues taking locked chests for themselves?
- Item reservation is cancer, and promotes toxicity in the community
- Item reservation is logical, and provides options where previously there were none
- Dual specs when?
- Dungeon Finder is terrible, and has no place in Classic
- My server is dead, please implement Dungeon Finder
- My server faction population is too imbalanced
- Free Blitzchung
- Ban multiboxers plz

I can think of hundreds of questions about mechanics and design choices they have taken, also about bugs andstuff

I could create an equally sarcastic list about BfA and those forums… doesn’t mean there’s nothing to talk about.

In my opinion, it is too soon. Classic has only been live for 56 days (8 weeks, less than 2 months).
I think that their experiences with Classic WILL have an effect on Blizzard’s future planning. But I do NOT expect them to react to the first 8 weeks of Classic by making any announcable changes. They haven’t even unlocked all the phases of Classic yet. They want to see what happens when they do.
About 3 months after the last phase of Classic is unlocked, Blizzard will have their data. THEN they will think about changing their future plans based on what they learned from Classic.
8 weeks is way too soon.
The bugs are worth explaining on stage
hell, a god damn press conference is probably in order at this point

We thought you didn’t and we don’t want to talk about that. - Blizz.
Every time the dam tauren shifts into bear form he rips a huge fart. Why does he have to share that with us? I don’t remember that being a part of vanilla. I want less sharing.

Thing is, I actually 100% believe this! If I was a new dev hired around August 2012 and put in charge of PvP and the game went downhill in terms of popularity since then because of the stupid changes I put into the game I wouldn’t like it. Then the game re-releases and is more popular than the stuff I built? I’d be extremely salty at first then I’d revert some of my changes to see if the game gets more popular in retail (such as placing /follow back in battlegrounds) and making /follow work properly in War Mode.

I mean what is it you think they should advertise? Its not like they have new content coming out for classic. Sure there will be updates that add in dungeons and/or raids but again they are not new. Blizzcon generally focus’s on new stuff and not 14 year old content.
You’re right! The only thing they can do is screw up WoW Classic by placing in things that are in WoW Retail such as the removal of the /follow command in battlegrounds.
Blizzard does not care about faction imbalance and will not be doing anything about it.
I mean Blizzcon is to announce new stuff for their games, what new stuff can they announce for Classic?
what are you expecting, for them to announce a new expac for classic? they can call it… THE BURNING CRUSADE.
Hmmm…brand new content that has been out 8 weeks is doing well, compared to year-plus-2-months content?
I doubt that anyone at Blizzard is even “surprised”, much less “salty”. They have 15 years experience with this player base demanding “new content! new content!”
