I am playing Legion Remix as a first time Death Knight. I started Blood and got that weapon fine enough.
On the second Artifact questline, though, I chose Frost and entered the keep. However, I have no sword or any weapon to fight with (meaning I die…quickly). What am I doing wrong or how do I get a sword? (My first artifact sword is equipped, but red and not usable.)
You dont have to do the quest as Frost. Even though it swaps your spec to frost, you can do it in Blood if thats all you have.
Or, you just go to the Infinite Bazaar and talk to Momentus where you can buy Timerunner weapons for 5 bronze a piece.
Oh, that’s good to know. It was very confused when my spec was changed and I had no weapon.
Changed it back and ran through!
Do you know if I get it from Momentus, do I get the quest options still or does it bypass them completely? (I kind of am enjoying doing them.)
The weapons from Momentus are just Timerunner weapons, not the Artifacts so you still have to do the quests.
The Timerunner weapons are basically heirlooms so you can do the artifact quests as intended. Its just easier to swap specs to what you have the artifact for already.
I dont really know what the point to Legion Remix is other than to get things that you cant get on live. Like the 4 horseman mounts, fel versions of your class mounts, and then hard to get weapons and just exclusive skins.
When you created the character it put non-artifact weapons for you to use in your bags. You would have had 2 one-handers in your bags (you can buy them for 5 bronze each if you scraped them). The intent was for you to use those to get the artifact weapons. But, as has been pointed out, you can do the quest in another spec. Up to you how you want to do it.
