True but ICC was the true final raid of Wrath, the boss that was on the box etc…

DS was just a huge let down, the first half of the raid is just in a reused wrath zone and the last two fights are add fights…

it gained subs, then slowly lost subs. then the 1 yr content draught

everything peaks at some pt and comes down. isn’t proof cata was bad

classic would fix this flaw

It actually did, blizzard was publishing sub counts in Cata and you can see the huge dip after cata launched.

Back in TBC a buddy of mine used to talk about when he was a kid, doing TOGC and going back and not being able to do most of the ulduar hardmodes in TOGC gear. And then finally clearing it all in ICC gear just to try and get the mount, which is 100% now in phase 2 zero light, but went down to like 1% later. Curious if they’re gonna do the same as undying mounts in classic, and keep mim’s head 100%.
