Not sure how long this has been going on but I just noticed it over the weekend. I can’t get any sound from WoW through the speaker on my M4 mini, all other sounds come through just fine. If I have my airpods connected when I launch WoW, audio will play through them but if I take them off then I won’t have sound through either.
Make sure you are setting the output to the mac mini built-in speaker. Do this on MacOS system settings. For the in-game settings use “System default”.
It is. I have also tried resetting the audio settings to default. But that still wouldn’t explain why I get audio if I have my airpods in when I load the game but if I put them in afterwards I don’t have any sound.
is it possible when you putting the AirPods back on, they are trying to connect to another devise such as your phone, watch or iPad.
I have this happen whenever my watch and phone are close to each other. My earbuds can’t decide which devise to connect to and usually defaults to the phone.
Having the same exact issues, however no sound even from my aux directly to Mac Mini. I’ve ran repairs, forced .wtf files to reset audio option - no sound. I made sure nothing is muted. I can hear my music, but cannot hear the game at all.
Ideas? This just happened randomly.
