It’s already been nerfed to oblivion. It’s fine and still somewhat fun where it is at. I don’t want the game to be not fun.
You’re more than welcome to come raid with us (Zero Expectations/Anarchy) on Thursday evenings, we usually have about 30 sign up.
We too are on WG horde side, I go by Mootherluck if you’re interested. We’re 7/8 atm, still learning the Cald fight.

Idk if changing enrage timers, among other minuscule things would be considered “Nerfed to Oblivion” ;p

Most of the raid is a joke at this point especially with 3.5 set bonuses for cleave damage which also makes Caldoran a lot more manageable, and enrage timers were the important change.
Y’all running 30+ people too? Or your core 20 in full 6/6 tier 3.5?
My group runs with 22-5ish depending on who’s around. We prio’d tier to classes who deal the most cleave damage such as warriors which helped a lot compared with spreading it out.
They released the raid in a far too difficult state to be able to claim it was balanced for 20. It’s a lot better now but they really should have just delayed it by a month and added multiple difficulty options like they did with Naxxramas. It was just too much of a shock to have 13 bosses in Naxx dropping all that gear and then expecting guilds to be okay with going into SE and having to take more people to get one boss down because Beatrix was almost impossible for any group under 40 players.

That seemed like the smart move early on for most guilds … alas that was not done with us. It was just, get everyone their 2pc regardless of who they are. Mistakes were made.
I think tuning is much better after the nerfs and getting some tier but it’s definitely not a joke.
60% of 20 man groups that killed the first boss have not full cleared. Over a month into the phase.
It is a 20 man raid. Clearing it with 25 and calling it a joke is like clearing nax HM 3 and calling HM 4 a joke.

Well all of naxx hm4 is a joke minus KT, and maybe saph

Also, most of the raid =/= all of the raid.
Caldoran is on another level compared with the other bosses, and by another level I mean ranged players have a mechanic targeting them so it instantly makes the encounter much harder due to the type that generally plays ranged.

HM3 is significantly easier than HM4.
Doing SE with 25-30 people is significantly easier than doing it with 20.

Majority of people saying the raid is really easy now are running with 25+. Of course it’s easy, you’re bringing 20% more players than the content was supposed to be tuned for. Having about 20% more dps and healing than you’re supposed to is a big deal.

Eh, this is all going way over my head. All I know is my group of 22 to 23 people clear this raid in 3 1/2 hrs, only to improve(Saturday is our raid night) that SE isn’t that hard anymore. You all (not you) but ppl like the op need to try a different strategy or something because whatever they’re doing isn’t working

Maybe I’m off base but I would never spend 3.5 hours in a night raiding, with 8 wipes, with 20% more players than the raid was designed for and then call it easy. Over a month after raid was released too.
I’ll agree with this. Most of the things holding groups back right now have nothing to do with boss hp, outgoing damage, or enrage timers. The tuning is in a good spot. Being able to do cald’s blind mech and dropping the fires in the correct spots are stopping a lot of groups and that’s a git gud thing.
Hey we killed him did we not and learn to count it was 22 people in one raid night. Sounds like a fun time with my raid group right there
