I’m more concerned about the time there are two parts to this prepatch and even if it released THIS tuesday it would still be one of the shortest prepatches ever
The first part of it will likely be the level squish and class changes. Maybe throw in the zombie stuff as well. The second part will likely be the small amount of story.
thats what I mean though pushing it to oct 6 doesn’t leave much time at all for two decent sized patchs no matter how big they are, and imo this level squish is one of the biggest changes to leveling since cata. There are bound to be a least a few major bugs that make it into the game that need a good month of live testing to iron out
I’m honestly wondering if they are genuinely considering pushing back the launch date, but working themselves to the bone to try and ensure that doesn’t happen.
I mean, they announced that date and then Khadgar went and had an aneurism so they had to take away time from balancing and such to fix that ASAP.

They havent really made any additions to the ptr either doesnt that mean its theoretically ready anyway?
They changed the release candidate down to a test version. that’s the last I’ve heard.

i was hoping it be this week but damn… guess next week. Now idk wth imma do on my day off this week. been farming for a few mounts on 1 toon but it gets bored fast tbh.
I’ve only done ICC this week on all of my toons. I’m probably going to have to just hit all of them up next week. Even the ones that don’t drop mounts…
This is fixing to be the shortest pre-patch in WoW history. I personally think the layer upon layer of power systems is causing unnecessary bugs and ridiculous class balancing issues. Sure, the only reason I am particularly anxious for pre-patch specifically is because I am hoping for an event like legion invasions where I can level toons from 1-max in under an hour, but I am also just really tired of BFA and haven’t played for a week or two. Just release pre-patch to throw us a bone while the full DLC gets worked on.
We aren’t getting a leveling event this time around like Legion had. But, you can level quite quickly when the levels get squished.
i just tried to do it on my alt already pissed off XD. 2 bosses in after i made sure i put it on the right setting 25 Heroic some how it managed to revert to 25 normal so now it’s locked out for the week. pissed me off and just logged. i rarely play my alts usually too invested in my main
I’m the same way. I usually have a main and maybe a main alt. But I only really level my alts up and leave them alone for the rest of the expac in case I ever feel like mixing it around for the next one.

i just level mine when im super bored of my main but still actively play. most of my alts were once mains over the past years then got a bunch of boosted toons i dont play at all or deleted like this guy
