No one listens to open world players

What you want isn’t a primary endgame.

Those that do make that decision.

I’m not part of the problem. I’m not the one asking for Blizz to cater to me.

in any case - they didn’t go around farming all the rare mobs everyday (which often were world quests) or hunting for blingtrons - just in case they might get a legendary.

Why are world quests capped at lowbie? Thats yet another thing.

because mythic plus was more efficient for getting titanforges, farming AP, and farming legendaries.

Because it has to be accessible and beatable by “lowbies” as it’s the first step into progressing beyond questing.

Not that “lowbie” should be coined with noob or anything of the sort

oh so you are concerned about efficiency now - well the same would apply if they put titanforging back in world content - it would be easier to get the same ilvl by doing other content.

The difference here is that you’re trying to say it’s not a “pillar,” while I’m saying it’s just “part of end game content.” There’s a difference.

And if they weren’t part of end game, they wouldn’t be called end game zones and wouldn’t exist. Open world players have been getting gear from end game zones and having end game content in said zones since BC.

Maybe what needs to change is the fact that instead of it being just part of end game content, it needs to be a pillar. There are more and more open world players who don’t engage in as much instanced content as time goes by. If Blizz wants to keep subs, then they need to make those zones more engaging for the long term.

They’re giving us 253 weapons in season 4.

LFR will be higher than that.

I’m hoping they’ll do something and in the next few days or so, I’ll probably make another topic to discuss what I think they should do for us for season 4 and pray, yes. lol

They run M+ every once in a while. I have zero interest. I don’t much enjoy these dungeons and dislike M+ now. It’s changed since Legion and it isn’t something I like.

Not for my end game zone. Korthia kept me engaged all season. ZM sucked from the start and it’s already done and over with.

Yes, you are. And I never asked anyone to cater to me. I asked for the next end game zone to be better. I didn’t ask for instanced content to be ignored, be less, etc. I asked for a better system and for something engaging for us in season 4. Maybe open up your mind a bit and comprehend things.

But why NOT have longer, or harder ones for those who have progressed past the lower ones? Progression is progression.

Open world is already one of the longest forms of progression (barring you don’t do anything else)

You can take that 239 M+ gear and level it to 272if requirement thresholds are met, , I cant take my 239LFR gear and level it to 272 nor is my LFR gear turning into 278 Mythic Raid gear in my vault…

Once again, M+ gear has a leveling progression path, Raid gear does not.

But it doesnt PROGRESS. Its capped. The whole point of this is to provide an alternative to mythic boredom and raid RNG.

If you cap it too high, it becomes the only source of those super items under your proposed idea. at that point, efficiency doesn’t matter. Yes, M+ would be a far better use of time to get to 272. but if only world content can forge, and we keep the BFA cap, it is now the only way to get the super items. Efficiency of different paths doesn’t matter if there is only 1 way to get a thing.

So is Raid, M+ and PvP gear.

And yet you can upgrade those. Why is that?

Not really…

  • M+'ers: getting recycled dungeons (nothing “new”)
  • raiders: getting recycled raids (nothing “new”)
  • rated PvPers: getting 1 new arena map
  • unrated PvPers: nothing
  • LFD’ers: nothing
  • LFR’ers: nothing
  • WQ’ers: nothing
  • pet battlers: nothing
  • RP’ers: nothing
  • TW’ers: nothing
  • etc etc

So looking at this overview of 9.2.5, seems only rated PvPers get a brand-new map, everyone else is getting either recycled stuff or nothing at all (in the case of unrated BG’ers)

You have to progress through the ranks of m+ in order to do that. Staying in LFR nets the same results as staying at m0

Getting to M10 and unlocking the choice to upgrade gear would be the same as you progressing from LFR through Normal raids.

The gear scales accordingly.

In order to unlock 272, I have to have completed a score of 2500 (I think) which is maxing out (15s) every dungeon on both Tyrannical and Fortified weeks, which is equivalent to you progressing through Mythic raids

vault reflects the same for both as well

All things are capped

you can’t upgrade raid gear in S3.

I didn’t say “new”. I said more. There’s quite a difference between those words

they didn’t change the requirements, so 272 is 2k score (all +10s on both difficulties)
