No one is forcing you to pvp

Pve players over reacting…boohoo you don’t say lol.

God forbid we prevent them from going afk in town. We might ruine their day

I wish they’d just give them what they want along with actually figuring out how to separate PVP abilities/effects so their balancing doesn’t impact PVE.

This feels like when people tell depressed people they should just cheer up.

I don’t know anyone who is against giving PVP their own progression that doesn’t need PVE, do you?

Now you’re being dramatic. That’s not even anywhere remotely the same thing. As someone with depression and who hates PvP, you’re overreacting. Find somewhere else to be if it’s that detrimental to your fun or try something new and see if you enjoy defending and helping people out. As a paladin, I believe you can cleanse others.

It’s not about going afk anywhere, it about being forced flagged for PvP with war mode off.
It’s not about the event, it’s about being forced flagged for pvp with war mode off.
It’s not about turning into a zombie and dieing, it’s about being forced flagged for pvp with war mode off.
It’s not about the whole world being attacked by the zombies, it about being force flagged for pvp with war mode off.
It’s not about stopping or turning off the event, it’s about being force flagged with warmode off

It has nothing to do about anything except being force flagged for pvp with war mode off. What is the point in turning war mode off if they force you into pvp anyway.

I wanted the full force version of the event, but kept to WM only. I see no need for people who really don’t want to deal with it to be forced when all Blizz needed to do was keep the shards separate in the capitals too. Their event would still be fun for them, just pve style. Meanwhile, everyone who wanted the crazy PVP fun would get it and wouldn’t even see the non participants

Afaik only the healer NPC can. Which also is dumb.

Edit: as for going somewhere else, the only place I saw a zombie yesterday was when I got jumped in the transmog room in Boralus. So, yeah.

You need to do your research because that is not given to everybody. I believe that is only given to people who do exiles reach.

This isn’t pvp

Then why do I have to be flagged for pvp? If other players are attacking you and killing you it pvp.

This is what WoW has trained you to believe. This is players attacking each other, but this isn’t PVP.

And I didn’t. Because that means absolutely nothing for those that don’t go into Warmode. I wasn’t stepping foot into Warmode just to do a prelaunch event.

You’re not forced. Go somewhere else and drop your flag.

PvE style? Now I’m not following you.

People were talking yesterday that healers could cleanse. Or maybe it’s just the broom item now. But you could still defend and kill off zombies so they can’t get far. That way, no one is getting anywhere to infect other areas.

That’s half of what this event is about: not spreading it.

Yes. New players. And if you know it’s for Exile’s Reach, then freaking do Exile’s Reach. You also aren’t forced to come to Stormwind if you decide to level outside of Exile’s Reach. I’m not the one who needs to research. And maybe you need to learn how the game works. Your snark was worthless.

Doesn’t anyone use their brain? I mean, I have COVID brain fog and even I can logically deduce how this works and what to do if I don’t want to participate.

During which Daddy Blizz stated you would have to be flagged for PvP to be affected. Which in BfA means CHOOSING to activate Warmode. So the surprise isn’t for the zombies, it’s for the AUTOMATIC FORCED flagging. Not for attacking a zombie. Not for even going near a zombie. But by simply entering the perimeter of SW or Org. If the truth had been explicitly stated by Blizz I would not only have no reason to complain, I wouldn’t be complaining because I’d be unsubbed. :see_no_evil::speak_no_evil::hear_no_evil:

Wrong. Being flagged is not being in Warmode.

Go somewhere else and drop your flag.

So as I said earlier to you: you’re just being dramatic to be dramatic and you don’t want to be here anyway.

Me killing npc zombies and npc zombies killing me without the forced pvp flag. or player controlled zombies trying to kill me. You know war mode off with no pvp.

So you wanted two separate events where there were just a boatload of NPCs in one and players doing it in another. I gotcha now. :+1:

For me, I wanted a Legion style event where waves of zombie invasions were in different zones like we had back then. Cultists and Scourge in invasion style stuffs to give us more Scourgestones to turn in and chances at gear, where every level could participate.

Making it max level only was bad form.

All they have to do it not auto flag you for getting attacked by a npc or attacking a npc or zoning into stormwind. Something Just like war mode being off.

But you’ll do it PVP flagged in a city? You could still turn it off if you had to leave SW.

The non WM version would only have NPC zombies that could attack players is what I was thinking.

Wowhead says only the NPCs. The broom doesn’t cure players, it cleans the ground to prevent spread.

I hearthed from the tent in IC to Boralus. Never went through SW to get flagged. Zombie found me there, zombie died there.

This is what I would do if I decide to actually partake.

Is anyone even doing this in Boralus or Dazalor?

I will admit, I was surprised to be auto flagged when I logged into Stormwind. But I just laughed and flew off, went to Dalaran and flew to Icecrown to drop the flag. It hasn’t affected me sitting in Org or Stormwind on MG or Wyrmrest and people were killing zombies fast enough to not get that far. The more people try to ignore it, the more spread we’ll see and the more people will freak out. If people would just have some fun and kill some zombies, treat them like NPCs, then it wouldn’t be so bad. The puddles of plague and the explosion can be avoided if people pay attention. You don’t have to get zombified to help defend.

See comment above, since I’m having the same conversation with someone else.

I did make some posts about this above, as well.

Wowhead also made a lot of mistakes concerning the event so far, so I’ll just have to try it to find out. And that broom was a waste of Scourgestones. They should’ve made it a toy like the Fel Spreader. I’m disappointed in that thing. Stupid Blizz.

Yup. That’s why people around here need to stop them in the main cities instead of screaming on the forums.

because taking a boat to Northrend, or going to the other continent via boat in ratchet is hard? I mean there are ways around it. it may not be convenient but the portals aren’t the only way to get around in the world. it’s easy to avoid if you don’t want to participate. and if you’re playing the game why are you in org in the first place? there are other cities to use the AH and alternate ways around the world.

you have no argument. portals aren’t an argument to be had in this case. just avoid the area that gives you grief. it’s not a difficult concept.
