Players should not be able to attack me if I have warmode turned off. If they can what was the point in war mode then if pvp is always enabled

You mean three times in 15 years don’t you. In that time you would have it in for maintenance anyhow.
Ive seen them in all major cities and tanaris. People saying move cities are fairly stupid. Unless this is an unintended bug, because I moved my horde bank alt to Silvermoon and i’m still getting flagged for pvp and getting slaughtered. Same with Ironforge.
No issues on a leveled character. Just low levels. I just want to post my AH stuff so i can go about playing(another 2000 hours easy) in Northrend.

You understand the difference between a threat and a nuisance, yes? The difference between danger and annoyance? Literally the complaints are that this stupid event is forcing people to participate when they don’t want to. Good grief you are daft. Or trolling. Actually, probably trolling based on your other comments here. Makes sense that you would try to defend an event that’s only justified in the lense of a pvp griefer.

It’s one week. Something different and fun. For one week. Holy moly drama out of nothing. Now if you could only get sl resources out of PvP and you had to PvP all expansion I’d understand.

I should not be forced to play your way. Did you ever consider that something that frustrated you in one area being forced on other people is also just as bad? I know, it’s shocking. If you had mentioned this to me outside of this thread, I would have happily agreed with you that pvp’ers being forced to pve is dumb. Amazing how consistency looks, isn’t it?
Don’t force bad game design onto others just because it happened to you.

Pvpers have been forced to PVE this ENTIRE expansion.
I have to say, I was surprised to see I got attacked at Nathanos’ place by a pack of ghouls. I thought Blizz made it where you had to have War mode on to be attacked. I wasn’t even flagged for any kind of PvP. I just wanted to kill Nathanos. Nope. Ghouls were killing everyone.
That being said, I do agree that no one is forcing anyone to pvp. That’s why I hearthed to garrison after a couple of forced deaths (yay pally bubble!) and will be playing another game till SL drops. I suggest to those who are struggling to do anything in game to take the week off. I know it’s frustrating but just let these folks have their week and go do something else. No point in getting stressed/frustrated over a game.
And remember, don’t feed the trolls. Just ignore them and move on.

All good. This event is getting everyone on edge. I can’t even get the second weapons off nathanos for my dual wielders because of zombie griefers.

I’d be more inclined to agree with this sentiment, if it weren’t for the fact that there are other important things that are also limited to just this week, and it’s only a matter of time before these kinds of people spread the plague to places like Icecrown

Imo this hasn’t been a great example of a pre-patch event. Not a whole lot to do. Pretty short quest line, just a bunch of rares on a spawn cycle timer for a chance to drop some re-color armor.
That being said, just because it isn’t important to me doesn’t mean it’s not important to you or anyone else who might really want these recolors and to complete the questline. Are there any groups you could join that might make things easier/faster to complete?
And yes, sadly, we’re gunna be seeing the ghouls/griefers around the rare spawn timers pretty soon.
